I grew on on the east coast. Jewish life was different there and it took me over 20 years (and meeting my husband) to find Temple Ramat Zion. From the moment I walked through the door it was warm and welcoming. A similar feel to what I had growing up. My husband grew up at the temple, my step daughter had her bat mitzvah there, we got married there and now my son is in first grade with the most amazing religious school teacher, Morah Julie. There is a smaller younger family population but I feel the energy and it's growing. From the rabbi and cantor to the religious school director, Julia they rock! My family joined this shul a few years ago and immediately felt like integral members of the community. We have been invited to Shabbat meals, to participate in the services, celebrate the holidays, join committees, and more. It's such a warm place.
My wife and I have been members of Temple Ramat Zion since we got married 10 years ago. We have enjoyed the community and its members ever since. The religious school is amazing for our older daughter and my son loves Bim Bam Bima on Friday night Shabbat services. Temple Ramat Zion is highly involved in the community as well with its food pantry and gives to the local area in many ways.
