Our family had the pleasure of sending two children to TBS spanning 2017-2022. Every preschool has its challenges (turnover, staffing, funding, etc), but TBS seemed to always find a way through its challenges as gracefully as possible. For us, we felt blessed that our children were able to learn in such a caring environment, one in which every child is an individual that is known and loved by their classroom teachers, their specials teachers, and even the administration. Everyone knows your child and does what they can to give him or her the best experience possible. As for consistency, the entire time we were there the specials teachers remained constant, as did administration. Regarding their openness, as a family that is not Jewish, we were always made to feel welcome and respected, as were other kinds of diverse families, with which my children attended classes. I truly can't say enough about this special place that always felt like a family to us. You will not regret sending your child here.
We had a great experience for preschool and kindergarten. I felt like my child was really safe during a tumultuous time. The teacher to student ratio was outstanding. As far as the education, I don't have really anywhere else to compare it against. My child had a good experience, enjoyed the teachers and learning. It was expensive for our family though.
I love what the school stands for, unfortunately some of the teachers don t follow the rules and communication is 0. My daughter was scared and cried very bad in class one day because of a human bones lesson. They decided to bring a large skeleton in class for 3 years old kids. They never told me about the incident when i picked her up either. They never removed her from the situation only turned her around and let her cry. I had to find out alone from the facebook group pictures . More than one year later my daughter asks me scared if i will take her back to “the skeleton school “every time we pass by it. Hopefully they will find better teachers and repair their reputation because i am not the only parent disappointed
This place is the most welcoming temple I have ever gone to. Besides the Rabbi who is both modern and sincere, he's a pretty cool guy and everyone I know, loves him! Then there's the music. It's Vegas Baby and the Friday night service is like no other. DJ is the most talented cantor I have ever heard. Besides all the religious stuff, he makes the service feel like a concert. Best place to be at the end of the week on Friday night.
Our grandson goes to preschool here. They have armed security at the gate and a secure process to drop off and pickup the children. The teachers there appear to be very dedicated and caring and our grandson just loves to go there. We have no issues with dropping him off as he wants to be there and he's only 3. We do have issues trying to get him to leave sometimes.
