Temple Beth Israel preschool has been excellent for our kids for years. Staff are loving, attentive, and great at communication. The quality of care is the highest I've seen at any preschool (we've tried four others in the area). They offer nutritious snacks, and are sensitive to food allergies. There is a lot of outdoor play time, even in foul weather because they have a covered place for the kids to play. The kids learn lots of songs, social-emotional skills, and academic skills. I love this preschool! If you can get your kids in, you should send them here.
We moved our 3 year old here from another daycare after learning about the TBI preschool from other parents. We are so happy with the switch! The teachers are caring and consistent, and our daughter is excited to come to school each day. The classrooms are cozy and focused on fostering creativity and community. The center is great at involving families, and they use an app for real time communication. We are not Jewish but appreciate the thoughtfulness of the curriculum and weekly rhythm. I strongly recommend them to families with little ones!
I went here, wanting to learn about Judaism, But they turned me away because I have Tattoos. I don’t know what God they worship, but that is not the father I know.
My daughter attended TBI preschool for three years and we were pleased with every aspect of the program. The teachers were warm, welcoming and nurturing but also held the kids accountable to follow the rules and treat their peers with respect. There were many engaging learning activities everyday, and lots of free time for learning through play. Although it is a Jewish preschool, many non Jews who want a high quality program attended and I thought the director did an excellent job of being inclusive to students with various backgrounds while providing exposure to Jewish culture and holidays. Parents were always kept in the loop with what was going on in the classroom with a detailed weekly email, and generally communication was excellent whenever anything came up. The program also offered many opportunities for parents to connect and both my daughter and I developed friendships that have lasted beyond her graduation from preschool. It was truly a wonderful, enriching experience, and I can't recommend it enough!
