Teddy Bear Tymes #2

All five of my children attended Teddy Bear Tymes Childcare Center and all five received excellent care. My youngest child has autism and the staff worked really hard with him to ensure both his academic and social needs were met. All five of my children gained a solid academic foundation at the center and all went on to receive high grades in public school. Teddy Bear Tymes works to individualize learning for all students and they plan lessons and activities for all age levels that support the growth and development of children. My children felt loved, nurtured and part of a larger family while at the center and my oldest children always return to show their teachers what they have achieved. The center participates in the food program and the kids are offered healthy, but great tasting options that I as a parent enjoyed not having to make. I can’t say enough great things about Teddy Bear Tymes, if you are thinking about enrolling, I highly encourage it. They offer a county employee discount that I benefited from.

I am so happy with Teddy Bear Tymes pre-school. I have two daughters that have attended the school. Both started when they were infants. They have received such great care, each one of the teachers have been so good to them and are so loving. By the time my oldest daughter graduated, she was reading and doing basic math and right now my two year old is counting in both English and Spanish. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided. Five stars all around. 😊

I am a graduate of Teddy Bear Tymes Child Care Center. Personally, this school did an amazing job at preparing me for the next level of education. I was always top of my class because I learned the foundational skills I needed to be successful. I am going to be graduating from San Diego State in May 2020 and as of right now I have a current GPA of 3.79. In addition, I have been accepted into the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program for Graduate School. I owe it all to the teachers and staff at Teddy Bear Tymes who still to this day support me and check in on me. I am forever grateful to have gone to TBT and I can’t wait to send my future children there.

I have nothing good to say about this school! It’s so dirty and the Directors are doing the bare minimum to keep their license! School is very dirty and they will not accommodate your needs! For example, my son broke his collarbone but was cleared from the doctor to be able to return but can not participate in outdoor activities such as water play, slides, swings etc. So I asked if he could sit in the office or another class while his class played outside and he could return to class when they returned inside. Instead of making the proper accommodations, I was told “We don’t have enough staff to just follow him around all day” which were the directors LINDA’s exact words! So if your child has a normal child accident and needs to be watched carfully then don’t count on this place.

I called Teddy Bear Tymes on three or four separate occasions throughout a span of one year. Either I got no answer or when they did answer they would place me on hold and never come back to the phone. Lol when I finally got ahold of someone they did not seem very knowledgeable. I eventually walked in. They're pretty pricey and offered no type of discounts for county employees. I believe I was quoted $200 per child per week. Which totaled $1,600 a month which I thought was outrageous!
