I thought that this daycare would be a convenient/caring place for my son. However, I was totally wrong regarding this establishment: I started a new job January of 2023 and my contract for caring for my son was terminated May of 2023. My son rarely had any illnesses and is overall a very healthy child. The owner was not considerate or understanding at all. I had to call off work on MULTIPLE occasions (up to 10 times) within a 3 months period. within 3 months, my son was sick a total of 6 times. MULTIPLE trips to patient first and his pediatrician. from sinus infections, to respiratory infections to influenza. don't get me wrong, I highly am aware that babies have to build their immune strength but 6 times in 1 month is excessive. After ending our contract, I immediately enrolled my son in another daycare and saw an immediate difference: no constant illnesses, no neglect, no unnecessary callouts. his mood was even better. i will never refer anyone to this establishment. they made my son as if he was the problem and didn't take any accountability. they mentioned that my son was a sweet and playful child but his sickness (that THEY caused) was hindering his attendance. if you are concerned with your children's health and well-being, do not take them here.

The owners and staff are very caring and compassionate. What more can you ask while working all day and away from your child? My daughter has grown in her vocabulary and interaction/socialization with other children. They learn songs and have indoor & outdoor activities. My wife and I have been pleased over the last 2+ years.

I just went to check the center out to see if it would be a good fit for my daughter to attend. The center has this old house smell to it. The rooms were cold and the toys were old and needed to be replaced. I just got a bad vibe about the care giver and she didn't seem overly concerned about having my daughter attend her center. Her grandson also attends the center and I always worry about the favoritism that relatives will show to their family members. I decided against sending my daughter to this center because of my gut feeling that it wasn't a good place for her to attend. After reading the reviews I am glad that I did not send her there.

If you love your child, do NOT send them here. They have failed numerous aspects of their licensing visits through the MSDE --- look for yourself by searching “MSDE Compliance Reports” on Google and type in their Belair Road address, leaving out the name of the day care provider and only filling out the street address, city, and zip code. They’ve FAILED: insufficient staff to child ratio also known as “capacity” and “group size and staffing” (meaning too many kids to not enough staff), proper rest furnishings, their infant and young child area is always extremely cold (they’ve placed dangerous space heaters around these rooms in the winter) and their fees are excessive for their lack of staff and poor care! I recall once dropping him off and the infant area was freezing; and, they said it was because they turn the heat off on the weekends and it was Monday morning and they JUST got there, so they asked me to leave my tiny son in his snow suit INSIDE. This is NOT acceptable, especially when I’m arriving thirty minutes after your day care opens. You are accountable for having your daycare prepared for when my son and other children arrive! Then, on another occasion, they opened up the center late due to snow; and, I arrived shortly after they said the center would be open, only to find that I was the only person there and they hadn’t even arrived yet to open the center. In fact, they hadn’t even shoveled the walk way to get INTO the center so I nearly fell down the steps with my infant son trying to enter the center after calling them for over fifteen minutes asking where they were. After all of this mess, I commute an hour to work only to JUST arrive at work after already being late due to their late opening, and they call me to come BACK and pick him up because he’s “the only infant they have” so they “need to use their staff coverage in other areas”. I was furious! Why should I have to jeopardize my job because you can’t manage your business? And, quite frankly, my son was the FIRST child there. So not only did I have to run all the way BACK to the daycare and miss work, but when I questioned them about having that day refunded the owner argued, “Well, we still have bills to pay whether he’s here or not.” Well, he was SUPPOSED to be there, but you told me you didn’t have anyone to watch him. How ridiculously unprofessional! Oh, and not to mention they don’t take cash or checks as form of payment for daycare --- money orders only. I imagine that's so you can't stop payment despite their endangering and negligent childcare “practices”. How convenient… I finally pulled my not even four-month old son from their care after I came to pick him up one day and they returned six of his eight four-oz bottles to me completely full. My son was literally starving because they weren’t feeding him! I repeat, DO NOT go to this money-hungry child care that will simply take your money and care NOTHING for your child. Would you trust your child to someone who would let another woman’s tiny infant starve? I think not. I still shudder to think that I ever mistakenly put my son through all of that because I wasn’t well-informed. PLEASE learn from my bad experience and don’t allow you and, especially, your precious child to ever endure their carelessness.

My experience would of been a great would one because of the staff that I meant with. The director on the other hand is a different story. She didn't want to have my 15 month old attend because that would me that she would have to come in the daycare more often then should would of liked. I think that is bad for business!!!
