I understand it is not Tas Montessori Schools leagal responsibility to keep an eye on my son who is not a student of theirs. However, he had to stay after school for extra help, I was running late due to an emergency at work. I had asked he stay close to the school as I was sending my father to pick him up. One of the teachers, as instructed by her boss, told my son to move away from their building. I feel that if someone who is responsible for other kids Saftey to put another kid (yes I understand it’s NOT THEIR JOB) away from the site of an adult’s sight is uncalled for! Especially when my son was doing nothing wrong at all! The teacher informed my son that the sidewalk was “private property”. Definitely not a small town business feeling and I will make sure to share this incident with others throughout the community. Take some time and google a recent incident where a bus driver in Milwaukee saw a child alone, stop, and made sure the child was safe! It was recently aired on Fox. It was not his legal responsibility either BUT THAT CHILD was loved and cared for.
We moved our son from a different daycare to Tas. Since joining, we have been amazed by how great Tas is (and regret why we did not move him earlier). Tas is a wonderful place! I have seen the same teachers working there since my son started a year ago. Although a tiny bit more expensive, limited in space, and have more off days on their calendar compared to other daycares, it is worth EVERY single penny! Excellet teachers, terrific managment, wonderful curriculum, and great environment. Keep up the great work!
I can’t say enough how much we love Tas Montessori School. Lindsay and all of her teachers demonstrate so much care, love, and energy as they help little ones to grow. They mix fun and education (my four year old is still talking about the baby chicks they watched go from eggs to hatching!) and wrap it up with people who truly care. From our first day at Tas, we have felt confident that it was the best place for our little guy! We highly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to watch their child blossom!
We absolutely love Tas. Lindsay and the entire staff are so kind, caring, and patient. My 2 year old loves going to school and really enjoys the different activities they do. The Montessori schooling style has always been something I wanted for my kiddo and I’m so glad we found a place where I can feel good about sending him!
This is the best Montessori school in the Lubbock area. My daughter has been going there for a year now and it has been amazing. The school is open and offers a true Montessori experience. Most of the other day cares / schools in Lubbock only integrate some of the concepts (hybrid). The teachers are amazing! I don't know what we would do without Ms. Emily and Ms. Alecia. My daughter just started in Ms. Chey's class and she is already starting to get comfortable. She is confident and the teachers really encourage her to be independent and self sufficient. It's truly been a wonderful experience for our whole family. Thank you Ms. Lindsay for being the director and making this place the awesome school it is.
