2024 Cohn Summer Break Camp I'm disappointed! My child is telling me she's sitting in the same room and not doing much all day. Additionally, the child is complaining that it's cold, there's no physical activity and she's not going outside, can't even see some daylight? I was under the impression that this is a camp, where are all the camp activities? Instead the child is static and cold, just sitting behind a desk most of the day. Would love to hear how we can move forward from this, if at all.
It’s an okay sporting center. The pool is pretty old and has 4 lanes. Was looking to rent the lane line here to teach kids how to swim. Receptionist gave me a phone number of the swimming club head coach!? When I called, he told me that all the lanes are fully booked. Although, I checked the swimming pool and hour before and it was empty. Kinda shady business, I’m not sure what’s going on with the management there.
Water aerobics instructor Aqua Betty is awesome and gives a fabulous workout. Pool is clean and the grounds are lovely.
My daughter goes to the daycare here and my wife and I are members. The daycare has wonderful teachers and our daughter is extremely happy here. In fact we went to one of the more expensive daycare's in South Tampa and had a terrible experience. As soon as our daughter switched we saw the difference in her happiness immediately. The JCC was a very nice change and worth a few of the challenges... which is why only 4 stars. 1 - They do not have a kitchen so be prepared to make a lunch and snacks every day. 2 - No refrigerators so need ice pack. 3 - children are grouped together until 8:15 when at least the age groups are seperated. Other than this, the gym and other facilities are minimal so we don't use.
