Take My Hand is a truly special place and a hidden gem. Both of my children attended Take My Hand. My son for two years and my daughter started at just 4 months old until Pre-K. After moving from Brooklyn and experiencing several daycare settings, this one was different in the best way. The space may not be the most modern or flashy, but the love, warmth, and care here are exceptional. The teachers are deeply attentive and genuinely present with the kids. Both of my children loved going there, which says everything. Ms. Crystal, Ms. Dorothy, and Ms. Nicole are incredible; kind, nurturing, and consistent. Take My Hand is family owned, and the owners, Michele and Jonathan, are thoughtful, communicative, and truly invested in the children, families, and staff. The fact that so many teachers have been there for years speaks volumes about the culture. My daughter spent much of her early childhood here, and it truly became her home away from home. I always knew my children were safe, loved, and supported, especially in their social and emotional development. I cannot recommend Take My Hand enough.

We have had both of our daughters (now 4and 5) at Take my hand childcare since 7 months of age. Sending our kids at such a young age definitely made us nervous as first time parents. Once we found out that the daycare was family owned for soo long we knew we could trust them. Michele and Jonathan keep you in the know with everything and the teachers are absolutely amazing!! All the way from the nursery/ toddler teachers miss Norma, miss Emily, and miss Jackie to the 3’s and 4’s with MissCrystal, miss Dorothy , miss diana and especially miss Nichole.. we have entrusted all these teachers and so many more to care for and help them grow in so many ways. We love our TMH Family!

My son is about to graduate Take My Hand after being there for almost 4 years and I can't say enough good things about them. He will miss the teachers and the school so much because they've all made him feel safe and welcome. TMH has prepared him well for the transition to kindergarten and he is ready with all the important basics (letters, numbers, practice with sustained attention, etc). They've been around for 40+ years for a reason and they're wonderful at taking care of kiddos.

We are so sad to be saying goodbye to Take My Hand Child Care Center as we prepare to move. My daughter has been attending since she was just 1.5 years old, and now at 4 years old, it’s hard to imagine her not being there. This center is truly a gem. The environment is nurturing, loving, and supportive, and my daughter has absolutely thrived. She has loved every moment there and adored ALL her teachers, especially Miss Crystal, who holds a special place in her heart. The directors, Michele and Jonathan, are incredible—always flexible, approachable, and genuinely caring about the children and their families. We will miss Take My Hand deeply. I cannot recommend this daycare and preschool highly enough to anyone looking for a place where their child will be loved, supported, and inspired to grow. Thank you to the entire staff for being such an important part of our lives these past few years!

Such a great daycare! Feels like family and a place where our two kids are well cared for. Our son has been learning a lot and having fun. Recently the brought some chicken eggs with an incubator and our son was excited to see some of them hatch! Fun seasonal activities such as the halloween party. It's also a great location, tucked in the neighborhood in the middle of Leonia.
