Mom's! If you're looking for a place to take your babies or toddlers this place is safe environment and they'll have so much fun playing and interacting with other children. This is especially great on hot / rainy days everyone is super sweet and the kids have so much fun and the best part it's completely free on Monday and Wednesday it open I know they closed for lunch and then reopen in the afternoon I've only come to the morning session.
CDI Canoga Park is awesome! From the outside you wouldn't guess how cool it is inside, and it's a free resource in our community for parent and child. They have a lot of toys, clean, organized, different areas with different activities for kids, such as small tables for art projects for the older kids, baby room with foam blocks and toys, reading area, tree slide, etc. Pretty cool this is in our community and it's free! It's also Volunteer-run and they're all so nice.
This place is great! It has a wonderful indoor play area with lots of sensory toys, a slide, library, pretend play house area and a space for infants/ crawlers. My son loves coming here, he enjoys all the toys and interacting with staff. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. There's an outdoor area too but we haven't checked it out yet. Only downside is the parking can be a bit difficult. They don't have a parking lot. Update: we stopped going here because every time we visit we end up sick. Might just be bad luck or high touch surfaces aren't cleaned often enough. Every time we have visited there's visibly sick, coughing children. Wish people would stay home and not spread the germs. There should be a policy and families should be turned away if any person is visibly sick and constantly coughing. I'm not talking sniffles, I'm talking boogers everywhere bronchitis type coughing and hacking going on.
For free, how could I not give it five stars? You would think if it was free that it would be run down, but it's not. It's really well maintained and decorated for the kids to enjoy all sorts of different sensory play items and experiences. A wonderful place for toddlers and I highly recommend you take your little one during the daytime hours for a wonderful experience.
The best indoor play area and learning center ever! They have toys, books, toddler play area, a garden center, and more - all for free! Mr. Randy, who is volunteering there, worked as a preschool teacher for decades, and is doing an amazing job getting little kids ready for preschool. He does a 'Discovery Zone' three times a week on a different topic each week, different activities to practice the little ones' motor skills, story time with music, dancing and useful tips for parents, etc. I am so grateful for all the work that Mr. Randy and all the volunteers do. I really enjoyed watching my son play, learn, and get ready for preschool at this wonderful place.
