We absolutely love this Church and community. We moved from another church in the area because we love the community and fellowship so much better here. The children fellowship is great and sponsors multiple events and a tot preschool in addition to a food bank. I've been attending this church for about 2 years and I've always thoroughly enjoyed it. Pastor Don is excellent, eloquent and funny and he preaches true to the scripture. Our first time at SUMC, we were immediately welcomed in and have been welcomed every Sunday since. It is an excellent church that truly cares for its community.

I am not a religious person but I have been to the church on numerous occasions because they organize a lot of charity work. I never felt pressured into practicing what they preach. The fact that the church is always helping those who is need has attracted me to it. It is refreshing to hear Christian values being put into everyday day life context. It helps you to keep and eye inward and strive to be a better person regardless of your religious preferences.
