Sunshine Smiles Academy

My son attended Sunshine Smiles from four months old until he left for public PreK at four years old. The teachers at this daycare are amazing, easy to get in touch with, and genuinely care for the children. In his last year at Sunshine Smiles, Mrs. Mica, Mrs. Ruby, and the director worked together with us to support our son, which entailed needing to be flexible, accommodating, open-minded, and compassionate. We were so grateful for their sincere commitment to his growth. In addition to the teachers being awesome, Sunshine Smiles provides an enriching environment with water play in the summer, arts and crafts, soccer shots, holiday celebrations, and a large outdoor space for playing. The daycare is always clean and is well-organized. Our daughter now attends Sunshine Smiles, and we would recommend it!

We love Sunshine Smiles! The environment is full of love and care. Our little one has been going for about a year (since they were about 9 months old) and we’ve had the best experience. We love all the staff and teachers. Couldn’t recommend them more!

I honestly have no regrets when I say Sunshine Smiles Academy is top tier!!! From the director Mrs. Erika all the way down to the team!! Their love, the consistency in the education, sensory experience, & protection of the kids like their own has been exceptional! I have a 11 year old who attended when he was a kid and also a 4 year old who is about to exit sadly. I have recommend this daycare to everyone I know! If you’re looking for somewhere to place your kid/kids this is the perfect place!

If I ever have another child, as long as these doors are still open they will be attending here. Absolutely lovely staff and environment. These ladies showed extreme patience and care for my child and any situation our family came across. They are all truly saints and my little girl adored every single one of the staff!

I adore SSA! When we moved here, my husband and I decided that we needed to put our daughter in daycare outside of the home because we were both working full time and family care was no longer an option. This is our first child and we were both nervous about putting her in daycare and I’m so happy we landed with SSA. Ms. Kim did our facility tour and was so incredibly kind and patient with us, answering all of our questions. She was warm and friendly with our daughter right from the beginning which was also really reassuring. The initial drop offs were hard for both us and our daughter because this was new for everyone and Ms. Kim, Ms. June, Ms. Annie and every other kindhearted employee there took their time with us, were incredibly understanding and gave us the transition time we needed. Our daughter has blossomed there. She’s excited to spend time with her friends and talks about her teachers all the time when she’s home. The facility is secured and the director Erika is constantly paying attention to the news and adding extra security precautions when needed. I feel comfortable leaving my daughter in the care of SSA because I know she’s safe and I can’t tell you how much that’s worth as a parent. I have never feared for her safety or wellbeing at SSA. Communication is clear from staff - about closures, late openings, holidays, special events, child requirements, and payment. I honestly don’t think I can say enough good things about sunshine smiles. I’m so sad that we’ll be leaving them soon. If we weren’t moving, our daughter would absolutely stay here until she’s ready to start kindergarten. I have so much love for this daycare and everyone who has looked after my daughter. They really make you feel like family and they will be missed greatly when we leave.
