Sunshine House

My girls have been going here a shy of a year now. My youngest started in May of this year. Communication is top notch, if you have a concern, Ms summer, the director and Ms Jewlia, the assistant director is compassionate and understanding of a parents concern(s). They’ll solve issues and difficulties if your child isn’t adjusting well yet. Being parents and having to work away from your babies is never easy, but my daughters teachers have been there for them and for me as well. The constant communication puts my anxiety away and the reassurance of them being well taken care of eases my worries. Their teachers are wonderful and a delight to have a conversation with, my daughters are always eager to see their teachers (Ms Jalisa and Ms Kiah in Toddlers) and Ms Alisha and Ms Melinda in Preschool! My youngest loves any smiling sweet face that looks at her so I count everyone whoever is in that room! I could go on about the other amazing staff who takes such great care of them but this review will only allow me so many words. Moms and Dads don’t ever hesitate to reach out to any of them, they’ll make you feel welcome and they’ll love your child be treat your child like theirs! So far, I have not once been judged about any concerns I’ve had or questions I needed answered. I truly appreciate this daycares open and caring minds!

My son absolutely loved it here for the few months that he attended here i knew it was home and felt like home. SUMMER is awesome as well as all the staff. My son felt safe and very loved. With the last experience from his previous daycare which I absolutely hated it, bit once we got everything approved and he started at the sunshine house I could definitely see the difference. We are so ready to come back in the summer time. Definitely would recommend this daycare...Thanks to all the staff for treating my baby like he matters and all the love you all show not just my son bit all the kids....Thank you thank you thank you!!!

The Sunshine House is absolutely wonderful! If you’re looking for somewhere I highly recommend. It definitely feels like one big family here and my little one couldn’t be happier! The teachers are all wonderful and know all kids well, even if they aren’t in their rooms. Summer, the director, is a sweet angel and all the kids love her. She will not hesitate to pick up the phone for any incidents or just to notify a parent if they notice your little one isn’t themselves! My family absolutely adores her and her staff!

Me and my children have relocated from philadelphia november 2024 and i made sure to chose a school with the same vibe and atmosphere that my children were used to back at home. The teachers here are like aunties and cousins. It feels like family for my children…my youngest adores her teachers especially Ms Kristy! And also Ms Natasha! They have had a few transitions since my kids started but they still remained the same great if not better facility. I know once my child has to go to big kid school shes going to be sad but i plan to keep my kids here for the summer once school is out. And for me to do that transition is always a breeze and they are helpful! Summer the new director is the sweetest and has great pleasant communication and is always smiling and that I appreciate so much being new to the area with so much anxiety. Thank you sun shine house for taking care of my babies for the last year!

I have had a great experience at the Sunshine house. My baby boy is in the infant room and struggled with adjusting to daycare when I went back to work. His teachers were so patient and honest with how his days were going while we figured out how to get him through the adjustment. Now he smiles at his teachers every morning when I bring him in. It makes my mama heart so happy that my boy is happy to be there.
