The Sunshine House on Clemson Road has been absolutely wonderful! From the very beginning, the staff has been incredibly sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were so generous in helping me with a tour, guiding me through the process, and making my two-year-old feel comfortable during what could have been a very scary transition. They’ve made him feel right at home, and he’s already learning new things—including potty training! The teachers are thoughtful, caring, and truly family-oriented. You can tell they genuinely love what they do. With the new management, this location has completely turned around for the better. I would highly recommend the Sunshine House on Clemson Road to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for their child.
0/10 wouldnt recommend! i wish i could give it a 0 star. I can just start off by saying all the smiling faces you see are FAKE! you got some teachers in there that does their job, the others are there for a check. Ive had numerous of problems with this daycare & my son has been there since June 2025. Diaper rashes back to back— ALWAYS under staffed so your child not really getting the care they need. Recieve a phone call one day about a child biting my childs arm—again, where was the teachers with so many kids so that could have been prevented. Switched him from one classroom to another WITHOUT my knowledge or anyone discussing new teachers, learning experiences that were going to be taught nor told me the pay would be different… it had to cause me to go in there to speak my mind to get the difference back from still paying for the classroom my son was no longer in.. not to mention in the classroom hes transferred too accepts 18-20 kids with only 2 teachers!!!! thats unacceptable! not to mention if one teacher is out no one goes to fill their spot— which lead me to THIS!!!! One day the primary teacher was out so only 1 teacher was incharge of all the students— my child was not properly seated & went face FIRST into the tile floor & the teacher WATCH IT HAPPEN!! my child ran to the teacher crying & she showed NO REMORSE!! didnt even call it over the walker nor did the Center call me until a big knot showed up on my child head which could have resulted in a concussion!!!! Ive asked to speak with corporate about the situation, nobody has reached out to me so I withdrew my child as of Oct 2025. I say this to say, not all smiles are good smiles!!! I recommend a daycare where you can tap into cameras!! they give excuses of so many foster kids are there thats why its no camera access but if you log into your childs portal you see other people kids under your childs name & not a peep of your child!! I can say after saying all this Toodler 1 & 2 are the only classroom that loved my baby like he were theirs & 1 teacher from explorer room thats why its said some teachers there for a check & some do love those kids. i just highly do not recommend!!!
The Sunshine House was the very first center we toured, and we instantly fell in love! The creative curriculum is absolutely amazing — it’s clear they prioritize hands-on learning and exploration. The center was spotless, and the family-oriented atmosphere could be felt the moment we walked in. Every teacher we met during the tour was warm, engaged, and genuinely happy to be there, which spoke volumes about the environment. The activities were well-planned and full of creativity, and I love how families are kept involved through the MySunshine House app, which shares photos and videos of classroom engagement. The staff was so professional yet playful with one another — it felt like a true family. The number of stars allowed here isn’t nearly enough for this loving, energetic, and dedicated team. Please come and see for yourself — you’ll fall in love too! ❤️
Good morning, I am reaching out just to say this has FAR been the worst experience I have ever had from a daycare! I feel like me and my child have been ignored and neglected. As I have been trying to get my child enrolled starting 8/1/25 it has been complete chaos and failure with this company. I was informed in the beginning due to my son medical condition (autistic) it was a process we would have to go through but the process move very quickly. The process turned out to be weeks even to a month before i got a decision on whether he was accepted or not. I keep calling the office daily to get follows up because no one ever reaches out, NOR do they respond to emails. After speaking with this woman from corporate named Yolanda one day she stated she would update me on everything and give me a call on a following Monday but never did. After an entire month, i finally got an email from Kiera Miller stating that they would approve my son for a 2 week trial to see how well he adjust to the daycare. He started on 9/15/25. They picked him up from elementary that day and brought him back to the daycare, just for them to call me around 4:30 and say he doesn't have any pull ups and that they were unaware that he was not potty trained and for the afterschool program for 5 year olds and up they have to be potty trained. So then they stated they would reach out to corporate once again to see if it was okay if he can continue, it is now Wednesday and i have not heard anything. I sent an email yesterday in regards to see if he could attend Wednesday because the assistant administrator stated that he would be able to attend Wednesday with his Therapist being there. Once again, i got NO RESPONSE! Here it is Wednesday and I had no idea if they are picking my child up from school or not! His therapist are trying to figure out if they will be coming to the daycare or not. I am very upset and disappointed with this daycare. I wouldn't recommend this daycare to ANYONE especially someone with a autistic child! I feel like my concerns have not bee acknowledged and we are being mistreated due to the fact that my son is autistic! I have never had this experience with anyone else! I will be sending him to another daycare just because of all the ignorance and mistreatment I have experienced! I could literally cry in tears how bad me and my child as been treated! Before they knew he was autistic they was ready to start him right away but just because he is autistic we had to go through the worse. Hard as it is already being an autistic parent, accepting the fact that your child is smart and special but different kills me at the fact that this daycare has did this to us and don't even care to reach out when clearly there is a problem here. Thanks for NOTHING! DO SEND YOUR KIDS HERE! I wish i could give NO STARS!!
The center is a wonderful center to have your child enrolled in. My grandbaby just loves attending. She is really attached to Ms. Kiera the center director, who is very caring, she loves on all of her students .She loves Mr. Brandon and Ms. T. also.
