Sunshine House

My daughter has been going in for about 2 years she graduated from the 4-year program to go to school. I don't have too much of a problem with the staff yes it's out of ratio at times. It's a problem when they don't have enough staff to go pick the kids up from school however making parents lose money. I have an issue with double payments and late fees our od no where. I make sure I pay my payments on time. The days I have been late I made sure I pay the late fee. Sunshine House that made me double pay even when I show receipts of my payments. They stated I cannot use a cash app card but I have been using that same cash app card for 2 years. And I have not had an issue until now due to their issues with payments. I spoke to the regional manager she said that she would put that money back and then when I came back to the center to get my daughter they told me that I had to make those payments and I don't understand why when I knew I already made the payment so I am double paying. I explain to the director also the regional manager I am not from here I would not make payments on time and also I needed them because it's a great help for daycares. They are taking advantage of the situation it is unfair treatment. My daughter did not even come for Thanksgiving and they still charge me full price they were supposed to charge me half price I paid the full price and they still have not reimbursed me my money stating they cannot reverse credit. Is not credit is my money being reimbursed and going towards the bill for next week. Have any parents have any issues please contact me in my DMs yes I really get a lawyer to look at this. I have all my receipts and also they erase things off the app so you can't see it so I make sure I screenshot everything when I made my payments and also other things I will not mention in the review. Sunshine House either we going to resolve this issue or I have to take a further step. If any parents have any daycares they know about let me know I'm a private payer I will pay.

My niece has been going for about two months now and we’ve had an overall amazing experience thus far! The staff has been very kind and patient with us and I am absolutely grateful. My niece has grown a lot so far and absolutely LOVES the team they have there. Overall a 10/10

My child has been going here for 2 years and she loves it. And she is not easily pleased! She actually gets excited to go to "school" and while it is a daycare, they have taught her so much from sign language to colors, counting and her ABC's. She loves all her teachers and always has to give Mrs. Lakeesha a hug before she leaves. She started in the infant room they have all watched her grow into the sassy toddler that she is today! The best part is that she is loved so much and its obvious. Every parent trusts that their child will be loved and cared for and safe and I know mine is. I appreciate all of the staff here for taking such good care of my baby!

For a few years now me and my family has been begging for Ms. Lakisha to be director. And Ms. Kiara to be the assistant director. Between them two alone has made our time at the sunshine house on Decker Blvd easier. We can work knowing that our children are being picked up on time. Updates regularly, ouch moments posted and a call regarding immediately after. As soon as you walk in a report is handed to you. I feel safer knowing my children are being cared for properly. If it makes a difference. Please put them two up front of the sunshine house. Much appreciated. Stroud Family.

My daughter started at the center in November 2023. We have had a positive experience so far. There were a few growing pains when we first started as well as when there was a transition in leadership but they were to be expected. It’s been a lot of changes these past few months but they’ve been positive changes. At their core - the director, assistant director and teachers genuinely care for and about your child. They go the extra mile to ensure they grow. My daughter can be shy and she is extremely picky about who she opens up to - it has been a joy to watch her blossom under their care.
