"I don't recommend any child with special needs to attend this daycare. They don't own up to their name “Development daycare” They will terminate your child and make it seem like your child's needs were a burden. Not to mention they will double diaper or pull up a child instead of allowing the parent to bring in diapers or pull-ups that suites the child. Supposedly my child wet through her clothes and they had to double diaper her but wouldn't allow me to bring in the diapers that will work to prevent the leakage because the pull-ups I had for her is too time-consuming so they rather use 2 diapers. But they're a development daycare and terminated my child who is developmentally behind 😫" Hi Traci, I find this to be extremely out of context and would like to provide some clarity. Sunshine is and always has been a high quality program, with MANY teachers well trained in special education. When you reached out for enrollment, you gave zero indication of your child's special needs and to what capacity. We did our best for over 6 months to accommodate the needs of your child in our program and to meet your child's needs appropriately. It was only through consultation from other service partners, was the decision made for you to find appropriate care for your child with a smaller classroom size and more 1:1 care than we could provide. Your child was never terminated because of their developmental delays, it was for the best interest and safety of your child. Sunshine is an educational institution, not a babysitting service. I personally made sure there was a transition plan and that you were set up with the necessary services to move forward with your family outside of Sunshine. It is very unfair for you to post reviews as such without all of the correct information. I wish you and your family the best. Thank you.

We LOVE Sunshine Child Development Center. Ms. Susan, Ms. Heather, all teachers in the before and after care program, as well as the staff, have been great and easy to work with. They all welcome and encourage open communication. My son loves his teachers, Mrs. Susan and Ms. Heather. They're caring, fun, and engaging and always presenting exciting new topics for the kids to learn about. They put so much effort into everything they do and make sure my son is safe, comfortable, happy, and enjoying learning. We are so grateful for Sunshine!

My 2 grandchildren have attended Sunshine for the last 5 years. I have heard nothing but high praise for the program and for their staff. My daughter has told me on many occasions of how she was so happy that she put her kids in Sunshine. They respond to any issue in a timely and efficient manner. I would highly recommend Sunshine to anyone who is looking for a qualified, caring, and clean environment.
