Sunshine Daycare

I absolutely love it here!!!! My daughter is currently 8 months. The transition from home to daycare was a bit rough, but they assured me it would be a great transition; and it was. Ms. Janice is sent directly from God. My daughter loves her to pieces. I love how all the staff steps in to help each other, even if it isn't their particular class. They know all the babies/kids. My daughter has even started making hands/feet paintings. She has even met the Easter bunny. I love the growth. I would recommend this place to any and everyone. I wouldn't even second guess it.

Wonderful, friendly and very knowledgeable staff!! Me and my daughter feeling like part of a big family is truly special. Education was very important to me when choosing a daycare and seeing my daughter's learning/growth gives me more confidence when she's in your care. Understanding and accommodating to my work/life schedule I am very grateful for also. Thank you for creating a warm and welcoming environment that feels like a second home for my child. You guys rock!!

Love the teachers at this school. I feel confident knowing my baby is in good hands. They know his schedule well and adjust accordingly when his feeding times change. I enjoy receiving status updates through the app and the occasional photo or video mail of my little one. It’s also convenient to use to communicate with the teachers/director. So glad I found this place!

I was so nervous going back to work when my maternity leave was over, but Sunshine Day Care has become an extension of our family and I'm so happy about the decision we made. My son has been at Sunshine Day Care since he was seven months old and will often ask for "more school" when I pick him up! It's a clean, warm, and nurturing environment with a huge emphasis on learning through play. He's now 20 months and knows all his upper case and lower-case letters, the letter sounds, and can count to 20. He tells me all about the outside garden and the beans he is growing and even is learning some Spanish! Again, if you are an anxious working mom like I was who wants their child spending a day where they can learn and grow and feel as comfortable as they do at home, I highly recommend Sunshine Day Care.

We are so happy with Sunshine daycare! When new ownership took place we weren't sure what to expect, but Ms. Janice and all the staff (shout out to Ms. K and Ms. S) have exceeded our expectations! Whenever I have a question/concern, Ms. Kamara (owner) is very quick to address it and put my mind at ease which I really appreciate. SDC is a smaller daycare (which dissuaded me at first), but they do a nice job separating the classes without disruptions, and when appropriate, join together to develop whole-school bonds which I've come to appreciate and value. When my son is at SDC it seems he is truly loved, engaged in activity and most importantly, happy and safe! I am very impressed by their curriculum and content and how my son's level independence continuously grows every day he is there. One important thing to note is that they have excellent communication with parents through their app, as well as providing monthly newsletters. It's also a huge plus that they are one of the most affordable daycares locally. Overall, highly recommend!
