Sunshine Corners

As a parent who use to send her children to Sunshine Corners, I must say that the owner Linda Younger keeps that daycare in tiptop shape, expecting nothing but the best. Her staff are certified and meet safety compliances as well as the daycare itself. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone is CPR and First Aide trained. All staff have their state police, federal fingerprinting, and child protection clearances before being hired and continue to be up dated regularly. The children are in large rooms with at least two teachers based on teacher : child ratio according to state regulations or more teachers according to what Linda deems necessary. The children move up from room to room according to age and milestones reached so that the child may continue to learn and be challenged. Teachers prepare activities for all of the children to do in time increments based on age and attention level. All of the children are provided with healthy meals and snacks, proper matts for naps and creative games and activities. All parents are provided with information about their child at the end of the day. However, the smaller children who are still in diapers, have a special note sent home with parents, informing them of: the diaper regiment, eating, activities, nap, playtime, outside walk, favorite parts and concerns of their child (may have missed something). Regardless, parents are well informed about their child’s day away from them and almost always greeted with a giant hug and smile ready to share their experiences. The years my kids spent in Sunshine Corners were some of the best years of their lives.

I would give Sunshine Corners 10 stars if it were an option! We absolutely love the staff, activities, and communication Sunshine Corners provides. What an amazingly peaceful feeling as a parent to know your child absolutely loves going to daycare and you have all the trust in the world for his/her caretakers. We couldn't be happier with how they have navigated the unpredictable changes due to Covid and we always feel completely informed every step along the way.

Great daycare. Kids loved attending, teachers are very supportive, and the management is top notch! Kids were well prepared for entering kindergarten after their experiences at Sunshine Corners!

Great operation! The ladies work tirelessly to provide the best for the family's that entrust them to care for their children. Consistently cleaning the facility throughout the day. It's a true blessing to have found S.C.

Flexible and friendly staff that are great with children of all abilities and ages. Fun summer program. My son has been attending since he was a toddler and is 7 now.
