What Parents Say
Sunnyside Daycare, run by Martha, receives unanimous 5-star reviews from parents. Parents consistently praise Martha's professionalism, safety standards, educational activities, and loving care of children over many years of operation.
My daughters have been at sunny side daycare far 6years now and love going there. The activities that are provided are very educational and I always feel at peace knowing my kids are safe while I’m at work.
Ms Martha is an excellent childcare provider. She has curriculum, she teaches the kids, and her place is safe. My son has been going there for years.
As Martha's son I can say that she has always been the best provider since I can remember as a child myself, and she had the best results when it came to her performance and professional of taking care of kids, and this is someone who sees this as a spectator, but if this review isn't good enough for anyone who is reading this and has kids of their own. Come to the daycare and see for yourself and won't be disappointed.
EXCELLENT daycare !!! Martha is FANTASTIC! HIGHLY recommend this child care provider, very professional, attentive, reliable as well as ensuring SAFETY, fun activities, VERY PROACTIVE! My son is very HAPPY as I am : )
I am writing this review to share my experience with this daycare so that other parents can make informed decisions about their children’s safety and care. I made the decision to remove my children from this daycare immediately after multiple incidents that raised serious concerns about supervision and reliability. On two separate mornings, I arrived to drop off my children and no one answered the door. There was no communication beforehand, no explanation afterward, and no indication that care would be unavailable. As a working parent, being left outside with no response is not only unprofessional but also completely unacceptable. The most alarming incident occurred when I arrived to pick up my 3‑month‑old baby. I found him face‑down and unattended in a separate room. No caregiver was present, and no one seemed aware that he was in that position. Any parent understands how dangerous this is for an infant, and it was deeply distressing to witness. This was not a minor oversight, it was a serious safety issue that could have resulted in harm. After these incidents, I made the decision to stop bringing my children immediately because I no longer felt they were safe. When I communicated this, I received a message stating that I would be billed for not providing a two‑week notice. Under normal circumstances, notice would be reasonable, but when a child’s safety is at risk, continuing care is not an option. It was disappointing to have the response focus on billing rather than acknowledging the seriousness of the concerns I raised. Parents deserve transparency, reliability, and above all, a safe environment for their children. Based on my experience, I did not feel that my children were consistently supervised or cared for in a way that met basic safety standards. I hope this review helps other families make the best decision for their children.
