I love this agency. My mom is 94 and blind, and it’s so hard to care for two parents by yourself. Sunnyside is caring and employees are exemplary. The aides they send are great, and they do their jobs. Recently, I had an evaluation visit from Harold, and he was a very professional and darling person. Loved talking with him. Ms Winsom, the Home Care Supervisor, is excellent and does a great job. Everyone there is competent. Thank you Sunnyside!
Attended a Queens Community Board meeting here. Staff was great, enough space for everyone, audio worked like it should of. Thank you for a safe space to have these important meetings.
terrible customer/client support. if you speak Spanish and need help, Sandra Saavedra who is a Community Engagement Associate, will not help you and WILL belittle you. my mother reached out to Sandra via email, and it wasn't until the 2nd-3rd email in which she replied rudely. claiming we received certain emails (we didn't). the only thing consistent about her was how rude, dismissive and unhelpful she was. her job to explain and guide my mom was terrible. i can't even imagine how inconsiderate and unhelpful she is with others who are actually confused and need the help.
We've been working with the agency for years and they have been very supportive with my grandmother's care.
Sunnyside has been great with my mom. I have to give a big thank you to shelly who has always taken my call and provide me with good aides. I also want to say thanks to ms. Wilson who covers at times for shelly. This job I'm sure is high pressure and shelly has always been kind. Keep up the good work ladies.
