We have been going to this daycare for 6 years now (all 3 of our kids) and we love it! The teachers are all sweet and welcoming and Sue, the owner, is always accommodating and flexible. We have never had an issue here. Our kids like going and have all made friends here. Ms. Jenny does a great job with the preschool Montessori program and working with each child in the classroom. They even take the older preschool kids on nearby field trips/walks every day in the summer! We highly recommend this daycare/preschool.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (They deserve more than 5 stars!) Both of my girls have gone to Sunny Day Care, and after 10 wonderful years, it’s hard to put into words just how much this place means to our family. From the very beginning, we felt completely at ease leaving our children there — not just because they were in safe hands, but because they were surrounded by people who truly cared. Every single teacher at SDC has been like family to us. They’ve loved, guided, and supported our girls through all their early milestones — and we’ve felt that love every step of the way. The owner Sue is simply the best — she runs Sunny Day Care with so much heart, and it shows in everything they do. I’m writing this now with a full heart because our youngest just graduated from preschool. It’s the end of an era for us, and such a bittersweet moment. They say it takes a village to raise a child — and Sunny Day Care has been our village. I honestly don’t know how we would have done it without them. If you’re reading this and you’re lucky enough to find an open spot — don’t even think twice. Take it. You won’t regret it. As a new parent I was looking for a daycare/school to entrust the care of my infant in. I've heard great reviews of this daycare, so I called in 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Each time I was informed that they were not accepting a child my age. I was astonished to read a review stating that individuals have been able to enroll their children in the time I've been calling. I couldn't tour the school and was told my son couldn't be placed on a waiting list until after he was three. At one point Sue told me my son had to be potty trained and three before September 1st. Each conversation was disappointing with Sue. I suppose I should be happy that they had no "space" for my son. I don't want him to be apart of any environment that is unwelcoming. -Mrs. Nikki B.
SDC has been a dream since we started five years ago. The staffing is consistent which makes it A home for my kids. They love their teachers (more than they love me I think) so much and love going to school. The preschool is Montessori based which is hands on learning. Their summer program is incredible as well. The non napping big kids take a walking field trip everyday! My son looks forward to it everyday. The staff is so kind and caring and are always there for you. I just love sunny day care.
