We live in Orlando and watch this beautiful pastor on Facebook and YouTube. We come to Key West just to see him. This church is awesome. His teachings are very easy to understand!! Dan and Lauri Knowles excited to see you tomorrow we’re here for the month of August. Love you, Brother Brandon. Praise God very blessed to have a wonderful church at our favorite place on earth.
Excellent church. God is doing great things through FSBC. I attended for 2 years and it definitely grew in those 2 years. Pastor Josh preaches the Bible. Nothing extra. Attended Bible classes and Men's group. All were Biblical and great opportunities to grow as a Christian. Worship team did a great job with Sunday praise and holidays. Brandon put his heart into the worship music. God was praised. Definitely a church that the presence of God and the Holy Spirit are present. Great events for fellowship and outreach throughout the year, but no pressure.
It's easy to feel God 's presence here.
My child was a part of their children's daycare and school ministry - Sunbeam. The school was abruptly closed down by Pastor Dyer and personnel with less than 2 week notice for parents due to "staffing issues", which were later found out to be demands not willing to be met by the team of wonderful teachers, caregivers, and our wonderful Sunbeam director. Closing a ministry with a 50+ year history of serving the community of the Lower Keys and Key West is a shame. They do not realize what a blessing they had - to have amazing people willing to come to work every day, to love and nurture the community's children, and still provide lessons of faith and the Bible. I feel for the teachers and parents of young children who will now have to struggle to find quality care, again. This does not seem like an example of a Christian leader.
Lovely people and the word was delivered without sugar. I didn't get to hear the pastor but still enjoyed it.
