Called to inquire and this is the rudest daycare provider that I’ve ever encountered. I would never trust them with my child. Many of the reviews note price was an issue for the “negative, bitter” reviews. In my case, price isn’t an issue but it appears that her clientele are mostly recipients of government vouchers so that could be the issue for some. However, that doesn’t warrant her lack of professionalism and unpleasant interactions. If being rude is consistent feedback in your initial encounter with potential parents of your childcare facility, then you most likely don’t have the skillset to provide a structured and nurturing environment for children.

Mrs. Odell has 30 plus years of experience with cultivating the minds of young children. Every child that has been a student at Sun Rise, has excelled academically and even socially in this world. Mrs. Odell has an old school learning philosophy that brings out the best in each child. People may take her assertiveness as “rude” when discussing prices, etc. only because people expect to receive high quality care without the proper compensation. Any parent that has experienced Mrs. Odell will tell you that she was an asset to them and their children. We live in a society where people think just because the government is “assisting” financially, that they are not liable to pay the remaining fees. Give Sun Rise a call!! Stop by to ask about what matters which is the curriculum. Then you will see how Sun Rise operates and how it has and continues to raise the minds of our children for the future.

In today’s time people want things to be free. You PAY FOR QUALITY no matter what or where you are! Your child isn’t the responsibility of the world but it is yours! This is hands down the best facility in the area if you are truly looking to develop your child and give them a head start at life! The bad reviews left about this center are ONLY from people whose children have never attended here. Mrs. Nancy has been positively impacting the lives of children for more than 30 plus years. Sunrise Development Center is a wonderful place. If you're looking for your children to have an atmosphere where they will be loved,they will be safe and care for... this is it. The staff is wonderful, making sure that our kids are ready to face the challenges of education in the future, giving them a great head start.
