I’m so grateful we found Sun & Stars Montessori in St. Helena for my toddler. The teachers are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming - you can truly feel how much they care. They made my toddler feel so special on her birthday, and on days when she’s had a tough time, her teachers always give her extra love and attention. Sun and Stars Montessori has made such a positive difference in our son’s life! Since starting, he has grown so much—especially in his speech. We’ve seen amazing progress in how he expresses himself and communicates with others, and we’re so thankful for the support he’s received. The teachers are incredible—so patient, caring, and truly dedicated to each child. They create a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where kids can thrive. We feel so lucky to have sent all three of our kids to Sun & Stars Montessori. The teachers and staff are the heart of this place. They truly love the kids like their own, and it shows. Our children felt safe, happy, and seen every day, and they absolutely thrived. Our home is constantly filled with stories, songs, and all the things they’ve learned at school. Sun & Stars feels more like a family than a school, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to our kids’ education!

My wife and I have sent all 3 of our children to Sun and Stars Montessori since moving to St Helena 5 years ago from Berkeley. Our youngest and last child to attend Sun and Stars is graduating this year and moving on to the primary school. We've developed such strong community through this special little school and each one of children have thrived during their time with all the wonderful instructors. Sun and Stars has felt like an extension of our family, and we will dearly miss the school and staff when we move on this year.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Sun and Stars for our son. From the very first day, it was clear that this is more than just a preschool-it's a loving, nurturing community where children are truly seen, heard, and celebrated for who they are. The teachers and aides are extraordinary-kind, patient, and genuinely invested in each child's growth. They strike a beautiful balance between structured learning and joyful exploration, helping our son grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. We've watched him blossom into a more confident, curious, and compassionate little person, and we know so much of that is thanks to the care and support he receives at school each day. Beyond the nurturing environment, he's also learning so much! He regularly shares what he's discovered at school, and we're constantly amazed by how much he absorbs and enjoys the learning process. Communication with families is thoughtful and consistent, and the atmosphere is always warm, inclusive, and deeply enriching. We're continually impressed by the creativity of the curriculum and the genuine joy our son expresses when he talks about his day. What has also meant a great deal to us is the sense of community among the families. As newcomers to the area, we were welcomed with open arms -into playdates, gatherings, and friendships that made our transition to a new town so much easier and more joyful. Choosing Sun and Stars has been one of the best decisions we've made as parents. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our child is in a safe, oving, and inspiring place each day. We are truly grateful to be part of this wonderful community.
