They do Great work here. Lots of nicely cared for donated goods. Proceeds go to help the local communities.
This place is wonderful. The volunteers who are there are very sweet members of the church. My husband & I go on a regular basis to chat with them and also find unique items. It's great because the proceeds go back to the community. They have a Compassion House that helps families that may be in need. That's a great deed. If you're looking for items to furnish your home, office, etc or items to help someone that may be in need, donate items or to simply have great conversations with the volunteers, this is the place to go. Went to an orchestra event here for public schools. Very nice place, but parking lots could use a repave ASAP.
I can only speak from my first time experience on August 30, 2020. The kids and I came in from the back by accident at almost 9:15 a.m. and we didn't see anyone due to Covid19 until we came around the corner to see a sweet family that lead the way to the main auditorium. The lady said they lead the Spanish service after the 9:15 service. We walk in and rows were marked and spaced apart. We went close to the back since service already started. The first thing that truly melted my heart was the choir. They sounded like angels singing directly to our God! I'm sure there were some that get comfortable with sitting in a pew and not understand just how anointed those people sung. I wanted to videotape but didn't want to come across strange doing that since we don't know anyone there. Thank y'all for filling my cup up, it was needed. Then, the preacher gave a message that applied to my life. I actually felt like I was fed meat at this service. I knew immediately that the preacher was a humble man. He dressed humble too. I have been to so many churches across our country and this one definitely gave me a great first impression. It was so good we stayed for the 2nd contemporary service. There was a young lady singing at 2nd service with a peach/pink dress on and let me tell you something that girl has a gift. She brought tears to my eyes with her sincerity towards God thru the music. She looked young, like a teenager but it's hard to tell. To my surprise, the same preacher from 1st service we heard again with the same sermon but added some extra things to apply to the younger generation and omgoodness it was right on point.
