This daycare has been a wonderful place for both of my children since they were born. They attended for about four years, and the staff is truly exceptional. They are one of the most genuine and family-oriented daycares I’ve ever encountered. My children thoroughly enjoyed the activities they participated in, and the staff was always ready to assist them.

My child has been going here since 2021 and I could not have been more pleased with the care and love that is inside this building. The owners do a nice job making everyone feel like family which is why we stayed so long. My baby is finally heading off to Kindergarten and I will definitely miss my SNS family. But I know the Perkins family will always be there to help me out when we need care in the future. Couldn’t recommend the place more! 🧡

My daughter has been in the caring hands of the wonderful staff at Sugar n Spice since 9/15/2021. This is my first and only child and the thought was nerve wrecking enough, but just like other parents, I had to go back to work. These people have been caring for my daughter from that day to this one, from 3 months to 3 years old in July. They keep me informed every step of the way, no harm has EVER come to my child and here's the BEST PART, THEY LOVE MY CHILD!! I know for a FACT that she is cared for and properly taken care of. This establishment has been standing strong for generations and there's a reason for it. I count myself and my daughter extremely Blessed to have them. Everyone I have met from the owner to staff is genuine and caring. I would not dare trust another facility with something as precious as my daughter's well-being.

0 star child care facility. This daycare does not have any safety protocols in regard to picking up children from their childcare facility. They voluntarily allowed for unidentified guests to pick up my two year old niece without notifying her mother who has always been responsible for picking up her child. No investigation was done, by the daycare OR the employee who released child without authorization, to determine who picked her up and her whereabouts. The daycare director was not aware by her employees of the issue UNTIL a complaint was filed with the State of Michigan and even after, they disclosed my sister’s complaint with outside parties causing further conflict. The people here lack professionalism and care for the safety of all children. This shows that they are willingly allowing for any one to come into their childcare facility to pick up children without identification, a security code, or consent from parent. Not to mention, the 5 star reviews are coming from the employees. Choose wisely.

On Friday , May 10 2024 in an attempt to pick up my child I was informed and two ladies came to get her. Upon me questioning who the ladies were, I was told that staff was unsure and the only information that was given was that “maybe it was her sister and aunt”. Following I was told that they had to code to sign my child out of the school and they retrieved the code from a man on the phone who “maybe was her dad”. The staff was unable to provide me with any information on the individual’s my child was released to. The staff was negligent in providing safety to my child and never asked for identification from the individuals. The staff failed to inform me that unauthorized individuals were at the school in attempt to pick up my child. The staff never confirmed with any parent that her release was even approved. Due to this event my child is withdrawn from the services from Sugar N’ Spice daycare center. The daycare center still failed to even investigate this situation and had no concern regarding my child’s safety following this incident. During my child’s attendance to this school , I have witnessed and been first hand to many unprofessional situations, conversations and remarks & Protocols are not followed properly.
