They don’t follow up with you. During our tour the staff ordered outside food and ate it inside the classrooms which could be a potential allergy hazard for children. I found this odd given that they have a sign posted stating something like “no peanuts, shrimp” and other allergens. The person giving us the tour had to announce themselves before entering the classroom. I have yet to see this done while touring other daycares. Something about this center seems off.
An exceptional program balanced between indoor and outdoor activities, focused in learning and development of children at all levels. We have been so pleased with our experience and would absolutely recommend Stepping Stones to any family. The teachers are nurturing and we love the consistent feedback and pictures sent daily.
Our family loved our time at SSNS and would recommend it to any family. Their approach to learning through play was incredibly positive for our children, and the incorporation of nature into daily activities is special and unique. We loved the supportive teachers and staff throughout our time there. Highly recommend.
We love Stepping Stones! It is a gem right in our neighborhood. Our daughter started PreK there just before her third birthday. She has been there part-time for a year now and we increased her number of days this past fall b/c she has done so well. The teachers are wonderful and caring as are the administrators. We love the emphasis on play time and learning through play. We also love that they spend time outside each day and have little adventures in the neighborhood. We also really like the ease of communicating via the brightwheel app and getting to see pictures throughout the day. We could not have asked for a better preK experience for our daughter.
Love their approach to early childhood education and the inclusion of nature in their daily activities.
