As a former employee, I cannot speak highly enough of SSLC. During the 7+ years I was employed there the dedication of the owner, Candice Ross, and all my fellow employees was, and continues to be, unmatched. The center provides structure, is academic-based and always prioritizes the safety and well-being of the children enrolled. It is the only center I would choose to teach in. Candice is very transparent and straight forward with enrolled families, as well as with her expectations of staff. She loves each child who enters the program like they are her own, and ensures they always receive the highest level of care and education through her staffing decisions. In addition to being academically structured, the days at SSLC are filled with lots of fun, ever changing activities and experiences for the kids. Children leave SSLC feeling loved and well prepared academically, socially and emotionally for their next steps in their journey. I go visit the center whenever I am able and have sincerely enjoyed being a part of the SSLC family over the years!
My children have been attending Stepping Stones Learning Center for four years. As a new, working mother, I would not trust my children in the care of anyone else. My children are receiving the best early education to prepare them for kindergarten and the world beyond. The center provides clear expectations for children and parents as well as thorough care and a nurturing environment. The curriculum is well developed, and each child receives one-on-one attention and instruction as needed. My children love and adore their teachers. We love SSLC!!!
Our three children have attended Stepping Stones since they were four months old. We've had a great experience seeing our kids grow and learn in a nurturing environment. The infant, toddler and preschool programs are structured to allow the children to receive a complete early education preparing them for kindergarten and beyond. Our kids love going to SSLC and always look forward to going to school. Thank you SSLC!
My daughter is currently attending SSLC. The staff is excellent. They are caring, compassionate, and do what is best for the kids. They have great Covid policies to keep the staff and kids safe. During this challenging time the staff and owner, Candice Ross, have done everything they can to keep the center Covid free. I was very impressed with how they handled each and every situation with Covid in stride. My daughter is in the preschool room right now. She comes home every day asking if her teachers can come home with her. My daughter had some speech issues and the work that is done every day to help her pronounce words has impressed me. I am very thankful for SSLC. As a single parent, SSLC has been a great resource for me. I highly recommend this center to anyone.
Our daughter went to SSLC from the time she was able to, after being born, through pre-school. We have nothing to say other than positive and supportive things for Candice and her staff. All of which are so caring and supportive. Our daughter still talks about Ms. Carrie and how much fun she had while learning there. This isn’t “daycare” where you drop your child off and they play all day. The curriculum is very structured and our daughter benefited greatly from what SSLC provided her. She has also developed very close friendships (hopefully lifetime) with her SSLC classmates. I would recommend nowhere else more strongly.
