My child was hurt pitched under his arm. I ask my son to point the person that did it he pointed out the director when I asked her to run video footage she showed me a different video of my son fighting with another child. When I asked her about the footage of the pitching she couldn’t provide it. I ended up calling corporate to see if they could investigate due to her being the director and her investigating herself. They told me they would look into it. The next day when I dropped my son off she put him on a 30 day stating they have been having a lot of issues with him. That day was his lost day corporate called me and told me they didn’t find anything wrong and terminated him afterward. Sherry was the director at this time
I am a single mom to my little one who is four years old. He has been attending Stepping Stone since August of 2022. Ms. Ginger and Ms. Theresa were extremely nice, patient, caring and most of all they understood children were children. Other than that, there is nothing positive to say. My son is an only child with learning disabilities being raised by an honorable and hard working single mom. My son was targeted multiple times by the staff and not cared for appropriately. My son was accused of interacting in a frowned upon manner with other children in which security footage proved to be false. “Amanda” called my son “ridiculous” over him waking up at 7am being a typical child. I don’t understand why my son is being targeted. This is a TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and UNSAFE environment for children. I was constantly harassed by the staff when I requested video footage to see if it would support their allegations. Something that every parent should have access to. DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD HERE! Every child is different and special in their own way and I pay to have peace of mind that my child is being taught well, cared for properly, and most importantly is safe! If you don’t have the patience to work with children then you should definitely look for work elsewhere. My son is not the 1st to be subjected to this treatment and definitely won’t be the last! BEWARE!
This place gives me weird vibes just seems like they need more staff the director seem Stressed I feel sorry for her because I know her job isn’t easy. She seems very professional but I just know I get weird vibes from everyone else. If you bring your kids here ask questions be direct on what you want for your babies no matter how old they are. make sure you ask questions and be direct with the staff. if they have issues or a problems. Don’t argue with the staff. This is like a mom and pop type ownership. Get in Touch with corporate they seem like caring people they care about their business for sure. If things keep repeating that you don’t like be up front don’t brush it underneath the rug.
This is a horrible daycare . I would not recommend especially if your child is late developing in anything . My daughter is 2 years old and they used the word “defiant”. First off how can a two year old be defiant ? My child has delayed speech and is still learning how to talk . I have a speech therapist of course and we are working together through this . As a first time parent stepping stone has judged my daughter off of her not understanding to being defiant. If you want someone to care for your child this is not the daycare for you . ON TOP OF IT my kid stayed sick. They just went through having hand,feet and mouth. One parent was so mad when she waked in and seen her kid nose running (they don’t wipe there nose by the way).Mrs.Sherry blames the kids for everyone being sick and not the daycare .CLEARLY they are not sanitizing. Another thing they don’t teach the kids anything . They just play all day long .PLEASE BE SURE TO CONSIDER THESE THINGS BEFORE CONSIDERING THIS DAYCRE .
Stepping stones is a safe, reliable daycare. Syrena is my sons favorite, but all the teachers are great. Syrena in particular seems to have a very special connection with all the kids. When I pick him up is demeanor is calm and happy. That says it all. I’m very grateful to Sherry and Syrena for being the perfect leaders.
