I am beyond pleased with Stepping Stone School! My daughter has attended since she was just six weeks old and is now two years old, and it truly speaks volumes that the majority of her teachers from earlier classrooms are still there. Every morning when we walk in, my daughter is greeted with so much love from Miss Emily. They even talk about Miss Emily’s four cats, which always brings a smile to my daughter’s face and makes her feel so comfortable and connected. Throughout the day, Mrs. Chelsie often stops by her classroom to visit, take pictures, and share updates with me, which means so much. As a single mom and a natural worrier, having that consistent communication gives me such peace of mind. I genuinely have no worries when my daughter is at Stepping Stone. They truly treat us like family with daily updates, check-ins, and even phone calls when my daughter misses a day to make sure everything is okay. At Stepping Stone, my child is never forgotten and is always well cared for by every teacher she encounters. Mrs. Melissa has also left a lasting impression on my baby girl. Even after transitioning classrooms, she continues to check in on her, making sure she’s doing well and thriving. I am incredibly grateful for the love, care, and dedication shown to my daughter and our family. Stepping Stone School is truly a special place.
I am beyond pleased with Stepping Stone School. Although my son attends part-time, the love and care he receives while he is there truly make him feel like family. Because my son has Down syndrome, I can sometimes feel nervous sending him to a school or learning center without me. However, at Stepping Stone, I have no worries at all. The staff is incredibly attentive, loving, and caring. Miss Trenell is absolutely amazing with my son and makes him feel so special from the moment he walks through the doors. I truly appreciate receiving regular updates about his day along with adorable pictures of him and his friends. My granddaughter also attends Stepping Stone, and she is always excited to go to school. She often talks about her new teacher, Miss Karla, whom she absolutely adores. Stepping Stone School has been a wonderful and supportive environment for our family. We appreciate you❣️ Tracy Clark (mom and grandma of students)
Both of my kids go to Stepping Stone School, and we’ve had an amazing experience. The teachers are caring, patient, and really get to know the kids. Our boys are excited to go every morning and are learning new skills every day and week. The communication with parents is excellent, and it’s clear how much thought goes into the lessons and activities. It feels like a true partnership and extension of home. We always know our kids are safe, happy, and growing every day.
As a longtime parent at this daycare, I want to share my personal experience and perspective after several years of enrollment. In my opinion, there have been ongoing challenges with supervision, communication, and overall consistency. There were times when I felt safety procedures could have been stronger. On one occasion, my child left the classroom area unnoticed, which was very concerning for me as a parent. While staff responded once they realized, I felt that additional safeguards would have helped prevent the situation. Over the years, I’ve also observed classrooms that appeared very busy and sometimes seemed short-staffed. In my personal experience, this affected the level of attention and care my children received. I occasionally brought home my younger child needing a diaper change after a full day, which made me worry about how often checks were happening. I’ve shared concerns with leadership several times but did not notice lasting improvements. Communication after incidents sometimes felt brief or incomplete, leaving me uncertain about how issues were being addressed. I’ve also noticed some facility maintenance concerns, such as peeling paint and unlocked windows, that made me uneasy. I’ve reached out to both local and corporate leadership in the past because I felt that some issues needed more follow-through. In my opinion, the focus often seemed to be more on maintaining a positive image than on making long-term improvements to support staff and children. I have also noticed that families are sometimes encouraged to post positive reviews, so I recommend reading feedback carefully and visiting in person to form your own impression. While some families may have good experiences, mine has been disappointing overall. I encourage prospective parents to tour the center, observe classrooms, and ask detailed questions about safety, staffing, and communication before making a decision.
Stepping stone is a wonderful school!! The staff is incredible and genuinely fosters an environment where learning and child safety is the number one priority. We love it here and would recommend it to anyone.
