Stepping Stone Learning Center

We have been sending our daughter to Stepping Stone since she was 4 months old and we have had nothing but a great experience so far. We were very nervous sending our baby to a daycare center for the first time, but the staff in her assigned room have been so welcoming, kind, caring and gentle with our little girl. Ms. Shelly, Kay, Asia, and Jen have been fantastic and couldn't be more thankful to have them. We have had clear communication, updates throughout the day, and confidence that our daughter is getting the care she needs while we are at work. I highly recommend Stepping Stone for a safe, welcoming, affordable option for daycare.

As most parents are, we were so nervous to transition our daughter from being home and being taken care of by family members to a rather busy daycare, but it was absolutely the best decision! Ms Shelly, Ms Knesia, Ms Kay, Ms Asia, and Ms Jen are so loving and attentive. Our daughter always has a big smile on her face when we drop her off and pick her up everyday and I can tell she genuinely enjoys being there. My daughter started when she was about 8 mos and is transitioning into the 1yo room next week. They have already started a slow transition allowing her to get to know the other older children and teachers in the next room up. Ms Shannon has been so helpful to let us know what to expect and everyone is very communicative. You can tell they put alot of care and thought into making everything run smoothly. We are so happy we chose SSCC!

We have been at SSCC for a year and a half. Our daughter truly loves going to “school” and never wants to leave at pick up. We feel so reassured that she is in good hands. All of the teachers have been great at communicating on the app about every detail of the day and posting lots of photos. She is currently with Carrie and Liza and she is truly obsessed with them! She adores them and she feels the love back from them. We feel so fortunate to have this wonderful faculty and facility to take care of our daughter while we are at work. Highly recommend!

Both my daughters currently attend SSCC and my oldest is almost 4. She loves going to “school” and asks to go on the weekend sometimes! My youngest is 6m and the baby room has been a great experience with Ms. Kay, Ms. Asia, and Ms. Shelley. She gets big smiles when she sees them each morning! SSCC have accommodated my daughters PT/OT needs and are very communicative with the kids progress.

I would not recommend this daycare to anyone—especially parents of children with allergies. Our son was exposed to his known allergy three separate times while under their care. We provided all required paperwork and supplied all of his snacks ourselves, so there was no confusion. Despite this, the exposures still occurred. The facility claimed they were equipped to handle children with allergies, but they clearly are not able to meet that standard. One of these incidents resulted in our son’s face swelling significantly and required medical attention. When we finally decided to pull our son from the daycare and asked for his EpiPen and medication, none of the teachers in the room..including the owner, knew where they were. They had to call someone who was not even in the building to locate them. In a true life-threatening emergency, my child would have been waiting while staff searched for his medication. That is absolutely unacceptable. We were paying nearly $300 a week and felt constant fear sending our child there. Additionally, family members occasionally picked up our son. Even when given the door code, they were never asked for identification or to confirm who they were. Over the course of four months, our son had approximately five different teachers, which made consistency and trust difficult. There were also instances where diaper changes were falsely reported…we picked him up in the same diaper he was dropped off in. Some of the rooms are absolutely disgusting, Especially the bathrooms. There is much more I could say, but the bottom line is this: I would never recommend this facility to any friend or family member.
