Stars Montessori Academy

Both my kids had such a wonderful experience at Stars! The school grew their confidence, independence, and curiosity on a daily basis. All of the teachers there are incredibly caring, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth. The Stars environment is warm, nurturing, and well-organized with thoughtful activities that balanced both play and learning under the Montessori structure. Communication from the staff was consistently excellent and we’ve always felt very supported. Although we recently moved and can no longer do the commute, we are SO grateful for the love, attention, and care we received. Stars will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Star Montessori in Vista is amazing. Miss Stephanie makes Spanish fun and exciting, and my kid absolutely loves her. Penny and Susan run the school with so much care, keeping everything organized, safe, and full of joy. We’re so grateful for this wonderful place; truly five stars! 🌟

As we come to the close of six wonderful years with Stars, it's hard to put into words how grateful I am for this incredible school, its teachers, and its staff. With my youngest now graduating to kindergarten, this marks the end of an amazing chapter for our family. Both of my sons have truly flourished at Stars. They were each exceptionally well-prepared for kindergarten, thanks to the nurturing environment and thoughtful approach to early childhood education. I’ve especially appreciated the school’s strong emphasis on social and emotional learning, paired with an academic program that meets children where they are. Each of my boys progressed academically in very different ways, yet both had their individual needs met while still being supported to meet—and exceed—their milestones. I cannot say enough about the incredible teachers. Ms. Stephanie has been a guiding light for my youngest—her passion and genuine care shine in everything she does. Ms. Natalie, her assistant, is endlessly patient and kind. My youngest also spent time in Ms. Jackie’s classroom, and we were continually impressed by her steadiness, professionalism, and big heart. The administration, Ms. Pennie and Ms. Susan, have always been a pleasure to work with. They addressed every question or concern with thoughtful attention and care. The facilities are spotless, with dedicated classroom bathrooms and child-sized fixtures that made potty training a much smoother experience. In every way, this school has exceeded our expectations. We are so thankful for the loving, enriching, and supportive foundation Stars has given our children. It will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Both of my children started at Stars (starting at age 23 months & 5 years old) and had attended for a few years, and we can confidently say it's been a wonderful experience. Our children were able to thrive both academically and emotionally here. They were constantly coming home excited about why they were learning and it's clear they truly enjoyed this school. As a parent, there is no better feeling than knowing your child is safe and loved when they're away from you, and that's what Stars did for us. Wholeheartedly recommend Stars Montessori Academy!

Since my 3 yr old daughter started at Stars Montessori academy, she has been immersed in a nurturing yet stimulating environment that sets her up for success and resiliency. Her teachers Ms. Amalia and Ms. Cristal truly care for the well being of every child and have such big hearts. The front office ran by Susan and Pennie are top notch and I always feel secure in that they have everything under control. I've really noticed some wonderful changes in my daughter ever since switching her to a montesorri preschool, including her tidying up after herself and some new found independence. She is always proud of the work and art she brings home. I highly recommend Stars for anyone looking for a preschool in Vista!
