What Parents Say
Reviews highlight a welcoming church environment with strong Christian teachings and community. Parents appreciate the pastoral leadership, children's programs like AWANA, and the caring treatment of all children including special needs. One parent with a special needs daughter reports three years of positive experience with no safety or care concerns.
Came here because I was looking for a church to visit while I was out of town and was blown away by the worship and the message! They also were not scared to mention the current events and to mobilize the congregation to unifiy our nation and to spread the Gospel. This is a God fearing, Bible believing, Jesus proclaiming church of God and I am more happy to visit again while I am here!
This is a good church. Our family visited here while in town on both a Sunday morning and a Wednesday night and both times were warmly greeted by Pastor Hodges. The church family was also very friendly and made us feel at home. Our 2 oldest children really enjoyed the AWANA program. They seem to have something for everyone.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE my church!! Every time you walk through the doors your greated with hugs and smiles. Real Christian people here. Pastor Greg is absolutely amazing. You know you have been fed when you leave each service. And you definitely feel God's presence in this church. I'm proud to be a part of the SAGBC family.
Went to hear The Whisnants in concert but got blessed with music from church members and choir as well. Pastor is amazing. Didn't get to hear him preach but will be going back to hear Him and experience one of their regular services.
The People there are AMAZING. They teach the kids Christian values and respect. I recommend taking your kids here. They give the best of care and they treat all the kids like family. Safety is always first and you have total peace of mind. My adopted special needs daughter/granddaughter has been going there for 3 years and she loves it and everyone there. I have never had any issues or worries with her there. I can't say enough about how GREAT a place it is.
