Been here for more than 10years now. I would say it’s a great place. They keep it clean but, there are some cons. 1. Parking space, you are only assigned one parking space. 2. There aren’t many if any parking for guests. 3. They have inspections multiple times in the year 4. They can and will continue to raise the rent. 5. Even if the staff or gardeners or people working there that use your water, you are required to pay that from your pocket(big issue, because water is expensive!!) As far as other stuff I have noticed is that, management is not great.1. They send papers to your door stating that the notice has been given at a certain time, when it is actually incorrect 2. Single mothers, take advantage of the system and so, I agree that they give them a certain time to stay and move out. 3. The “sisters” if you can call them that…are rude, disrespectful and mean. With no empathy what so ever in their hearts for people. Living here is not all sweet and glorious as others might paint it, but it’s still a little better for some since living in such an expensive state so will have to bare with it.

I hate leaving negative reviews but change cannot happen, if the needed changes are unknown. I called to inquire about becoming a volunteer, the gal that answered my call was very kind and said she would pass my info over to the person in charge of volunteering opportunities. Weeks went by without a call back so I called again, twice, to let them know I’m still very interested in volunteering. It has been several months, no one has contacted me. Several days ago, I called to ask if they knew of anyone in the community that could use a crib and stroller that I no longer need. I have not heard back on that either. They have someone very nice answering their phones but where is everyone else? If they are so short staffed that they cannot return calls then why aren’t they taking advantage of folks like me who are offering my time and services.

This place is very bad, the Family strengthening program is nothing but horrible people who run it. It’s supposed to be a program to help single moms with homelessness, not bring them down in their time of need. I had a very bad experience here! This was more than 4 years ago, I still think about how I was treated. I really honestly hope things have changed here for the better!

If I could I would give this place a 0. Women and children deserve better than this place. The "sisters" talk behind your back to the @** kissers and the case manager is a joke. They have no heart. If you stay longer than 2 years, you must be concidered one of their spies or worse. Please re consider this horrid place.

This place is awful, and degrading! The FSP program is built upon principles to build women up, but the director has these puppet case managers to tear women down. Women who are already vulnerable. The tactic of beating someone with a stick while they are already laying on the ground is down right horrendous. You cannot be an honest person in this program, they turn everything around on you and they treat victims as villians. There was 1 nun who actually had a heart of gold and was amazing, other then that this was an awful vindictive experience, and I would not recommend anyone to participate is this fear based, backwards program!
