My mom is going to the 4PM Christmas Eve mass. She is in from out of town, so we did dry run on how to get there. We found where the chapel was, and the spill over area, if needed. It was beautiful! I know my fellow Catholics and all people in general will be welcoming, and nonjudgmental about someone, not from this city, taking up a space in the pew. Ask yourself: Why did I just turn my nose up at that person? Then reflect on why you have disdain for that a person.

I visited the church's Food Pantry this morning. I was so impressed with every woman (and 1 Man) I came in contact with. They were all so welcoming and made an experience pleasent that could have been full of shame. The process was like a well oiled machine. Very organized. Only a woman lead team could make this a seamless process. And the women's circle had put together a birthday cake kit, complete with a pan. Some lucky children will be able to enjoy a birthday cake. So thoughtful and a great idea. I thank you all for an excellent experience. Being able to select my own food off the shelf is so much better than getting loads of food at other pantries, some of which you can't finish by the expiration date. Thanks for offering this pantry. It takes the sting out of needing a pantry.

We worked with many individuals for our wedding mass and reception in the new parish center that were wonderful. Father Dan made our mass personalized to who we are as a couple as well as helped counsel us for our married life. Our coordinator Deb was very knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. Tom and Lori answered our many questions on the parish center (which was being finished when we first reserved the hall). Lori helped us throughout the planning process and worked hard to make sure our reception went smoothly. Thank you - our wedding and reception were beautiful and better than we ever envisioned!
