Attended 12:15pm mass today (driving through). The church is beautiful and music lovely (somewhat traditional). People were friendly and kind. Loved that children were involved in the liturgical celebration. It was wonderful to see the growth of our faith through new vocations and children present. Recommend that they announce or post a sign to enter the sanctuary in silence to prayerfully prepare for mass. I found it difficult to pray in silence due to others talking loudly. You all have a vibrant community. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Priests are very friendly and approachable, and the parishioners are friendly. It is an absolutely beautiful church! I feel like I am home at St. Teresa of Avila Church.
The Mother’s Day out program was horrible for my daughter. The teacher, Ms. June, and the Director are horrible. Absolutely nothing Christlike about either of them. The moment my daughter entered Ms. June’s class, she was highly discriminated against, and Ms. June kept trying to touch her hair and her skin like she’s never worked with a Black child before. There was an incident, and I reported it to the Director. She literally told me, “Go somewhere else if you don’t like it here, or wait till your daughter moves to another class.” Hypocritical Christians! The reviews are true. Do not take your kids here for the program.
I love being a member of St Teresa’s The church is alive and welcoming.
I was not apart of this church... However the woman i was dating including her mother and father were more than apart as in a usher and singer.... First time i spent in 2014 i was threaten to be a great person to rhis woman i loved her very much.... religion is very complicated but i respected her and her family not to mention a few friends of mine went there.... So back in 2015 Winter we and my girlfriend got there late and had to park farther out than usual.... Then after the service was over we walked to our vehicle.... I noticed this suv going back and forth then started going backwards in a circle and hit my girlfriend's car... When i seen what was happening this lady was holding on her steering wheel as rhe car traveling in reverse in a circle and her legs were between the tire i knew she was going to be killed and all the others stood by ... I ran up and jumped in... stoped the suv... After the fact not one person said thank you..matter of fact i was pushed out of the way.... As they stood by doing nothing.... My pount is how fake these people are... It's only about status.... I never wanted anything but maybe a hug or a rhank you... Not one person cared ... So its hard for me to believe in rhis church....
