I went to lgbtq boardgame night and the event was off the hook. The people were friendly and I was impressed to learn this facility donated them space for the evening. They are generous. Cute space. Cosy and versatile. Most people with an open mind will be comfortable here. This is Ridgefield’s most caring space. Check out their events.
A church with deep roots and great heart. Serves the community with love and welcomes all.
The church building and grounds themselves are lovely - open, clean, welcoming. Its Main St location makes it feel an integral part of Ridgefield, but when you're on campus it seems as an oasis from the hustle and bustle just next door. A very nice place to worship and gather. The music ministry is especially fine - a great organ and top-notch choir program.
I am a Roman Catholic priest who celebrated a wedding there recently. I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming, and a lot of help to a visitor 'out of his element.' The Pastor, Rev. Whitney, is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgable. This is a fine place to worship if your are of the Episcopal denomination.
This church offers a large shelved wooden box with a glass door cover located on their circular driveway. Inside the box are food items, toiletries, or household supplies that anyone in need can take for free. You can also place items for others to take. Sometimes fresh items too like apples or potato, etc. Items like canned and boxed goods --soup, veg can, fruit can, tea, rice, pasta and sauce, peanut butter and jelly, tuna, sardines, mayo, mustard, etc. Also, toilet paper, paper towel, dish or laundry soap, baby food, razors, hand sanitizer and soap, hand lotion, toothpaste and tooth brush, deodorant, tampons, diapers, etc. Generous and helpful for people in money needs. A pretty church, but I never went inside.
