St. Stephen’s Community House facility appears to be well taken care of. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. They offer a great deal to the local community. I went there to drop off an application to IMPACT, for a HEAP for my son (who has Developmental Disabilities). The entire process of just getting information of where to take this to was challenging. I called numerous phone numbers on Friday that either were disconnected, directed me to a sales person for medical alert, I left 2 messages 3 hrs apart. I called on Monday could not get through only to the online scheduling. If I had not had the experience I had last year would not have done a in person drop off.
This place is amazing to me! They have different centers in there. They have a great daycare. My youngest son went there. From 3 months to 5 years old and graduated. They have a health clinic, a pantry on certain days. They a summer camp with different rooms for kids. They're not just having fun, they also are learning like a school. They have a nice park. The staff is nice, welcoming and informative. I highly recommend this center!
They offer some great community help, especially during the holidays. Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for the less fortunate, also gift programs for families with children.
Saturday August 30,2025 was their block party.... Had a great time and there was a lot of cool things to see!! Everybody got free T-shirts and food, bounce houses for the kids, a couple different ice cream trucks, a pop up library, a few other things to see and do as well as some different entertainment
