I had a bad experience with the nurse doing the eye exam for my 12 year old daughter on Saturday, 10/18/25 at 9:15 appointment. My daughter already feels bad she has to wear glasses and informed me she is having a hard time seeing the board at school. It is one reason why I took her to the doctor. This nurse was rude, sarcastic, and making fun of my daughter as she conducted the exam. My daughters’ self esteem and self confidence is very important especially at this age. An adult female should know that and especially as a professional. The nurses’ body language and tone while she conducted the exam made my daughter feel uncomfortable and bad about not being able to pass the eye exam. In other words, she lowered her self esteem. Very upset and disappointing. She should not be working at a pediatrics clinic at all! The front desk could be more friendly and welcoming! The doctor is a sweet heart and very professional!

I’ve had such a wonderful experience with St. Petersburg Pediatrics Clinic! The entire staff is incredibly kind, patient, and professional. The doctors and APRN’s take their time to listen and truly care about each child’s needs. They never make you feel rushed. The nurses and front desk team are always friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit so much easier!

My husband and I chose this office based on the great reviews and we are pleased with the first visit. The doctor was extremely good and the front desk staff was great as well. Very happy.

The nurse assistant and dr. Amber were great! I am so glad I switched doctors. All of the women in the office actually were pretty great- from the front desk to the doc. And you get a baby book at each visit (: so that’s cool too.
