Recently joined the St Peter's Big Rapids community and am loving this place each and every Sunday we get to worship together. It is clear to me that the people here like being together, and are also welcoming and invitational for new people. The Ferris State University students are part of the community here, they have a small group bible study, and I frequently see older folks talking to them about their lives. Our kids are thriving at the school, where they get to learn and grow in an excellent, supportive academic environment and get to talk about Jesus all day, every day. I see teachers who appear to love their jobs and seek to build connections with their students and parents.
St Peters has been our home for nearly 30 years. Pastor Bentz is wonderful. In all our years attending St Peters, every sermon is about Jesus and God and how it impacts our life. Sermons challenge us to grow deeper in our faith and to love our neighbor as ourself. The congregation is not so large where you get lost and they are a loving group of people. Just the best!! Our children also attended the day school from Kindergarten thru 8th grade. The academics are top notch and the kids loved going there. If you're looking for a new church home, I can think of none better than St Peters!!
This is a wonderful place to worship and learn about the Lord. The new Pastor is a very caring individual. His sermons are relevant and enjoyable, on target for today's world. The people have a sense of God's love about them. The school is a real gem. You'll be glad you visited this church!

Beautiful church with an amazing congregation. I had the pleasure of playing in a praise band here almost 10 years ago. I would highly recommend anyone to give St. Peter's a try if they are looking for a home church. Thanks for your love and support when I needed it most. God Bless
