I love this church. If you are looking for a strong family program that prioritizes children and youth, the church has put great leadership in place to welcome and support families. The church is committed to their social justice and outreach by providing care for the local communities. St. Peter’s has recently developed woman’s ministries that foster a space to nurture and build relationships. Try one of the first Tuesdays that provides food, fun and time to get to know each other. The worship is a blend of contemporary and traditional and it’s difficult to do this type of worship right and with a talented worship director and music program it works beautifully. St. Peter’s is a warm and loving church.
My wife and I recently joined St. Peter’s, and we’re already fond of the church and its people. We have experienced grace, not judgment. The congregation is warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. We’re grateful for new friendships we’ve made here. The worship services are thoughtful and inspiring, with preaching and music that draw us closer to God. We also appreciate St. Peter’s strong commitment to serving God through meaningful work in the local community. This is a nurturing church family—one that lives its faith through fellowship, worship and service.
St Peter’s by the Sea Presbyterian Church, Rancho Palos Verdes is a house of worship that CARES! Its Mission is varied, and St Peter’s serves its congregation, neighbors, friends, community, and beyond. However, no one is excluded— ALL ARE WELCOME! Be they wealthy or poor, old or young, white, brown, yellow or black! This CARING is exemplified by the Sunday service, the active Preschool program, the Popular Vacation Bible School, the celebration of Trunk or Treat, Traditional Christian holidays, and helpful outreach to those in need and suffering loss.. one sterling example is the catered dinners offered Wednesday night to Portuguese Bend homeowners who are without power or gas. Or the laundry facilities and money for homeless to get clean clothes. Or the assistance to a local church that needs resources. Or the volunteer help at a LA UNIFIED ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, that needs enrichment in their classrooms, especially for struggling students. So, St Peter’s CARES, here, there, everywhere. What better recommendation can I offer that these words of examples and outreach. Do visit— ALL ARE WELCOME, and you’ll get a warm reception in the sanctuary and afterwards on the refreshment patio. Most fondly, In His Name, Barbara B. Haney, M A

Welcoming and true to Christian faith at its best, a supportive and active community for the journey open to all. I've been attending here for 18 years and am happy to say it keeps getting better.
