This place changed my life. I´m from Brazil, but I lived in Stevensville from ages 5 to 7, more than twenty years ago. Like most adults I can´t remember much from that time in my life, but I remember that, after my mom tried to enroll me at the local YMCA and having the teacher ignore me completely, I was enrolled at this school. The teachers at the time, Ms Raidecky and Ms. Boat, were absolutely lovely and took on the challenge that teaching a young child English from scratch wholeheartedly. I'm not a religious person, and even when I was I wasn't Lutheran, but whenever I hear of compassion I remember them both, and the love and understanding they showed me all those years back. I'm really grateful, I've tried finding somebody from their families to express my gratitude but couldn't find anyone, so I leave this comment in hopes that somehow it'll reach someone who knew them so they can know exactly how special they were.
Seating is decent the best thing about this place Is bret the head pastor he's amazing and he can really reach u with his sermons he really makes u feel connected with the word of GOD. The only bad thing is the people that attend the church 95 percent are rude and disrespectful and always turn there noses up to new or different people the ushers are great the church was just remodeled not to long ago so everything is freshly done parking is not to great the parking lot fills up very quickly and 1 more thing is that they offer a Monday evening service for people who work and you can wear jeans and a T-shirt you are not recommended to dress up at this church I've been a member for over 20 years love this church.
My 2nd grader and 6th grader have experienced tremendous spiritual and academic growth at St. Paul's. My 2nd grader started when he was in 1st grade after struggling with behavior in public schools. The St. Paul's staff has been excellent in guiding him toward appropriate behavior with care and patience. I truly believe that they want to see him succeed. This is the first year at the school for my 6th grader. It really seemed like the public school system was allowing her to advance without really grasping subject materials. St. Paul's gives us frequent updates on her progress and - whether it is the curriculum, the teaching methods, or the genuine interest they have in her success - she has shown improvement throughout the year. St. Paul's is teaching my kids the core subjects of math, reading, and science, but they are also engaging other mental exercises that we think are helpful such as spelling, grammar, and memorization, as well as "electives" like art and gym as part of the core curriculum. The entire staff at St. Paul's have been great. Teachers, the Principal, the aids and lunch workers, and even the pastors of the church have shown my kids kindness and patience. They are a great representation of Christ's love.
Great experience for our kids in both preschool and grade school!
Awesome. Great message from the pastor.
