This is our church, and we love it here. Everyone is so welcoming. We've been going since December, and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. It feels like home. They have events. They're great with the kids. The kids have their own building with a worship center. They listen to music, learn about the bible, and actively play with eachother. They have multiple ministry groups. They do baptisms every month. They do communion once a month. They have Wednesday night services and two Sunday services. They preach strictly from the bible. There's more than one preacher, and they take turns for each service. They represent the church in such an honorable way. I'm glad I chose this church, and it chose me.
I loved this church until recently when the pastor, surprisingly, went very political. During the last few weeks, one of his sermons attacked various groups of God's children, our brothers and sisters, because of a recent event of hatred. I discussed this with one of the church leaders, and he reiterated that condemnation of our brothers and sisters in communities like the LGBTQ. Pretty sure that is not what God expects of us. We are all sinners. This leader, out of the blue, even called me a liberal, which made no sense to me-from a church perspective, and confirmed their political agenda.
Love this little home town church. Right now this church is feeling the growing pains common to any great church. The pastor is outstanding and his clear teaching of the word of God will win you over. From the greeters at the door to the wonderful message you will be hooked once you step inside. Come on down and give this little gem a chance you will be glad you did.

Hands down the BEST church in North Port Florida!!! I got saved last July and have been going to Freedom Bible Church ever since... Every time I have gone, I have felt the holy spirit in this church!!! It's a non-denominational, bible believing, truth telling, loving church that sticks true to the gospel as it is written and serves the community where they are. To say I love this place is a HUGE understatement!!! If you live in North Port and you're interested in coming, please do!!! We would love to see you all! God bless!!!
