We love St. Michael’s - the Reggio-inspired approach is amazing — it’s hands-on and lets the kids really explore and learn through play. The guides are incredible — so kind, creative, and genuinely invested in each child. You can tell they truly love what they do. Our oldest just graduated and grew so much here, both socially and emotionally. Our middle child is there now and comes home every day excited to tell us what she did. We plan to have our youngest join school soon. The classrooms are beautiful and thoughtfully set up, and the whole environment feels warm and welcoming. We couldn’t be happier with St. Michael’s — it’s a very special place.

St. Michael’s is one of the most magical places you can send your kids for preschool or even kinder. From the start of the day, all the teachers and staff members greet your children by name. The kids get to spend so much time outside, rain or shine (there are literally rain boots and umbrellas at the front door). The focus on academics has also exceeded any other preschool we’ve tried. Summer week offerings are generous and flexible. And last but not least, the head of school is truly such a gift to every family that attends. She knows us all, cares for her staff, and leads the school admirably. Wish I could give SMEDS 1000 stars.

St. Michael’s was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my girls. The teachers and director don’t just care for children—they understand them. My daughters were met with kindness, curiosity, and so much patience. When one of my girls needed extra support, the director, was incredibly hands-on—offering a calm space in her office that became a meaningful part of my daughter’s day. It made her feel safe, important, and seen. Both of my girls adored their teachers and the director. They came home confident, joyful, and proud of who they were. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to their learning journey.

I spent a long time searching for a day school that felt like the right fit for my daughter - and then we found St. Michael’s! We absolutely love it. The small student-to-teacher ratio allows for such personal attention, and every single teacher and staff member knows my daughter by name. The environment is incredibly warm and joyful - the kids always look genuinely happy, and most importantly, my daughter is thriving. Since starting at St. Michael’s, she’s come out of her shell, grown in confidence, and learned so much. As a parent, I also appreciate how involved we’re allowed to be — there are plenty of volunteer opportunities if you want to engage more closely with the school community. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

If you're looking for a unicorn pre-school, you've found it. This school is more than a school, it's a beautiful community of support, love and nourishment for your child and your family. I am so very grateful we found Saint Michael's and that our daughter got to spend three lovely years growing, learning and exploring there. The leadership and staff are smart, delightful, kind, caring people. While at this school, my daughter was fully supported in being her whole, amazing self while at the same time being prepared for her next phase in her elementary start. We absolutely loved our KinderBridge year. I wish this school went through high school! Don't miss the chance to immerse your child in this wonder-filled experience. You won't regret it. I certainly don't. Thank you Saint Michael's for providing such a sweet start to our daughter's educational experience. We are forever grateful.
