St. Matthews is an amazing place! My three youngest children attended St. Matthews until they were school aged. I can say, without a doubt, they were well prepared for kindergarten. Not only does St. Matthews offer a developmentally appropriate curriculum, they teach children what it means to be kind and compassionate toward others. Christian values are demonstrated by the staff. Every teacher is well trained and extremely caring. One of the best pre-school programs in our area!
This is the only way that I can respond to previous post. Please know that the Playground they are complaining about belongs to the City of Spartanburg, not the Church. They have no authority to "let" nor stop anything that happens there. Please don't blame the neighboring property, in this case the Church, for anything that happens there. Have a blessed day.
Great place to worship. Friendly people and makes you feel like family. Love my St Matthew's family. Please try our worship service. You will enjoy the sermons and the people who greet you in the church! Two wonderful priests make you smile 😃 as they teach you about the Bible and God.
Wonderful place. Friendly, nice, kind, and loving people. To spend their Wednesday mornings in this heat making sure that people in need get what they and their families need, they are walking in Christ Jesus' foot steps. I pray God blesses these amazing people for stepping out and stepping up. God bless y'all. Praying y'all always have more than enough to serve God's children.
No words can describe how I feel after walking through those doors. The warmth and kindness through all the hallways are unremarkable. But Father Rob and Father Paul, as different as they may appear, have the same sense of humor, compassion and love that makes you feel at home!
