St. Matthew'S Episcopal Church

I was in Richmond for a wedding, and randomly visited St. Matthews. I was warmly greeted by Paula, who not only told me all I needed to know, but also gave a wonderful gift bag with a travel coffee mug and reading material. The message was Biblical, helpful, and memorable, given by a renowned author and missiologist, Tad de Bordenave. The worship was liturgical in the Anglican tradition, stately, and heart felt. I was warmly greeted by a number of members, and enjoyed chatting with them so much, I was one of the last to leave. I plan on coming back on Sundays that I am in Richmond! I highly recommend St. Matthew's!

Attended a touching memorial service yesterday. The sanctuary space and splendid organ playing did much to set a reverent tone.

An absolute pleasure to attend and to be with Saint Matthews, this is quite an episcopal church that actually is quite conservative (not in the political sense) but in faith. This is where I will go for the rest of my life.

Beautiful, warm, friendly, welcoming place to worship. It’s my spiritual home✝️

Great worship team, and the refreshments after Church are fantastic.
