We have absolutely loved our first year at St Matthew Preschool. My son has never had a hard transition, and I truly believe that’s because of how incredible the staff are. They are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about each child. I also love the updates and pictures shared through the app as it gives me such peace of mind and makes me feel connected to his day. They are constantly learning, exploring, and doing new and fun activities that I honestly would never think to do at home! Most of all, they do a wonderful job of making parents feel involved and included. We are so grateful to be part of this community.
We have loved our experience here! We’ve had our son attend there for 1.5 years now and have been so pleased. The teachers have all been wonderful and our son has learned so much! He loves coming and always is asking when he gets to go to school.
Our granddaughter attended St. Matthew Lutheran Preschool for three years. All of her teachers were excellent and prepared her well for entering kindergarten this year. The staff are wonderful with children, the facilities are clean and bright, and there are occasional field trips (Pumpkin Patch in the Fall) and various special events throughout the year (muffins with Moms, donuts with Dads, Thanksgiving luncheon). Outdoor playground is nice and when the weather is extreme the kids can play in the gym. Chapel services are held regularly and give children the opportunity to learn about Jesus. If you are looking for an affordable preschool which provides a loving, Christian environment, we highly recommend St. Matthew Lutheran Preschool in Lee’s Summit.
St Matthews Preschool has been so wonderful for my son! He has learned so much in such a short amount of time. The staff is friendly and my son loves going to school. You can tell the teachers genuinely care about their kiddos and they go above and beyond!
Not only has our daughter learned so much academically and biblically during her time at St Matthew, but the teachers are so intentional in building a relationship with students and families. Both years her teachers (and the director!) have been so easy to communicate with, keep us updated with daily happenings in the classroom and go above and beyond to make sure learning is fun! Highly recommend St Matthew to anyone looking for a fun, affordable preschool experience for their little one!
