I was going to go there but never went I talked to the African-American lady that runs the program. She is sometimes a bit rude always has an attitude in her voice snobby and very nosy asked a very rude question to me onetime . Thank God I never stepped foot in that place and got myself together. something in my heart tell me not to trust the program anyways because you have to leave your kids in their daycare. Something was telling me something was wrong and always off ...Not saying nothing would happen if she's always talking to me with an attitude at times How would they treat the kids there. Something didn't feel right about the place so that's why I didn't go
My friend came down here from Il to get her an my God daughter out of a bad situation an to better herself. I’ve never in my life wrote a review for anyone but I don’t appreciate who ever she spoke with their telling her , They will not accept domestic violence cases. They hear the same story every day. If you don’t like ya job or hearing it everyday find another one . Can’t have a name called Hope house if you making people leave there feeling hopeless and sad and judged. Well her story is different and she is just trying to get back on her feet. And who ever told her that if ever they got in a situation they was not ever expecting to ever happen to them and had someone come to them an judge them when they are just looking for help I bet she would have been singing a different tune! It is not ok to belittle other people or make them cry for their situation is already hard enough. Only God can judge and thank you for not wanting to help because he will work it out in her favor.
Im Genuinely Grateful They Gave me A Chance Too Really Help Myself Towards the Right Direction … Only Person That Was Helpful honestly Was Ms.Berry She’s a Charm 😊 The Director Ms Reese I feel she Should Of connected with The Clients Better , The Daycare Workers Is Okay there’s Just No Real Structure And There’s no real educational curriculum Going On within Placement there Ms Rackley The Lead She will throw yours kids energy Off She Have To many Attitudes and The Olders ones was Sweet Though I can honestly Say 💯… But if you going In go in with a Plan and don’t depend On A Good lead ,You can come out successful 🤞🏾it’s a Help if you willing to help yourself though Look at your pros vs cons and Ignore the Ignorance that Going to try and throw your energy Off and you got it Thanks again though Hopehouse !May Better Plans Be in place for the future of those who come into the place
My stay at the Hope House was the best thing that happen to us under the circumstances at the time. The staff is wonderful and there to help you, the rules are strict but designed to help you get on your feet and gain control of your life. I will be forever thankful for the opportunity to be in a secure nice clean facility. Thanks to all of you.
At first the thought of providing a review with my full name attached to the review regarding transitional housing almost kept me from doing so. That sword called pride had showed it's self to be the reason I was hesitant to offer a review. It's my experience, as it relates to pride, that pride is not a double ended sword, it's one sided and it's only purpose is for man to fall upon. So, in say that, I am so grateful for the having been lead to the Hope House at the start of a experience that I'm still processing. Arriving to Hope House within days of this experience, I was received with open arms. So, if to say that the staffer that handled the intake was informed as to what brought me to the Hope House, I'm not sure. Yet, recalling the intake process, it appeared that they had, but in reality they hadn't being inform. Again recalling that day, the staffer did the intake with a kind of care that one would receive from some that knew the circumstances that rendered me there. What the providers at Hope House know of the reasons you there is by what the individual, that is need, share with them. So, over the 8weeks that I was there, the same care was given by all the facilitators of the Hope House. Receiving that level of care, allowed me to process what I had experienced which led to me find me a level of understanding of myself as a related to what I had experienced. Hope House gave me the opportunity to transition into that you awareness of myself as it relates to my comings, goings and doings. With that new awareness of myself it made it easier to forgive the situation as it was, forget the situation by way of who and forgive myself regarding the situation. If anyone has had the opportunity to receive the assistance of Hope House or seeking assistance, it would do a disservice for a individual speaking to any expectations that they thought they should have received or looking to receive, because it will reveal that individual was not invested or is not invested in the transition that was needing to happen or going to happen.
