St John'S Presbyterian Nursery School

As a mother of three, I’ve experienced a variety of early education environments—and I can confidently say that our experience at St. John has been exceptional. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately put both us and our child at ease. I may not be able to name every teacher, but under the leadership of Mrs. Brittany and Mrs. Abby, it’s clear that every member of the team is incredibly nurturing, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. My son is especially blessed to be in the Yellow Room. His teachers, Mrs. Jenn and Mrs. Dulce, go above and beyond to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to learn and grow. Since starting here, my son has blossomed both socially and academically. The curriculum strikes a wonderful balance between structured learning and creative play, helping children build confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills. I also love the regular communication and updates that keep us involved and informed every step of the way. I highly recommend the school to any family looking for a loving, supportive, and inspiring place for their child to begin their educational journey. It’s been a fantastic foundation for my son—and a true blessing for our family.

We love the Nursery School! The other parents and I joke that we'd keep our kids here until college if we could. My daughter attended the year before Kinder and my son is currently enrolled. My son was so excited when the school opened back up after COVID- he really missed his teachers and friends! The entire staff is incredible. Everyone knows your child's name, and they truly care about his/her development. I love how the teachers keep you informed on what went on during the day. The ample outdoor space (with grass!) is such a bonus. The play-based learning is so effective, my kids don't even realize they are learning sometimes! The school has implemented all the right procedures with COVID. I can definitely say this is the healthiest our family has ever been during the fall- not a cold in sight.

I absolutely love this pre-school. The teachers have all been so incredibly kind and warm with my daughter and create a very happy and positive environment. They have fun and creative daily activities. And although not the most important component, the price is incredibly affordable, especially compared to other preschools. Basically, the price is almost 1/3 of other schools. The location is also helpful, being relatively close to two major freeways. They also comply with all of the Covid restrictions, and take the required precautions. It's a miracle they convince my daughter to keep the mask on, but she and everyone else comply. I highly recommend this preschool. They also have TK, which is helpful since local TK's are all doing remote learning. There new website is also very helpful.

Our family loves this preschool - it's given us so much peace of mind and joy to know that our son is being watched by loving people that care for him. He has an absolute blast playing with the teachers and his friends while my wife and I are at work. Highly highly recommend - a hidden gem in LA.

This is an exceptional preschool. It is a warm and welcoming environment where my son has grown & thrived. The staff and administrators truly care about our children and focus on each and every child.
