St. John’s Catholic Church in Glandorf is truly a gem. The church itself is absolutely beautiful—stunning architecture that lifts your heart and mind to God the moment you step inside. The people are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel like part of the parish family right away. And the choir… just amazing! Their music fills the church with such reverence and joy, it truly enhances the entire Mass experience. A wonderful place to worship and grow in faith.
God bless the people of Saint John Parish. Entered to pray on Sunday afternoon and was welcomed with amazing sights and the peace of Christ permeating the air even though I was the only bodily creature there. If you have never walked into this heavenly church, you are missing this thin space, which is a taste of heaven on earth.
This is my hometown church. Type: Roman Catholic. It's beautiful, so if you're passing through, consider coming in to take a look. Would also recommend checking out the shrine across the street for Mary. There's a historic marker near the gate with additional information.
Celebrated Catholic Mass is memorial of our many ancestors who were married here and attended many years. Gorgeous architecture!!!
