Staff have been nice, my child has been okay the two days he’s been there, seems to be a place parents can trust to take their child. They just take all comfort away from what your child is use to having… I’m a little upset. This is my fourth child, my oldest is 14. I’ve not ran into this until now. (I understand policies) but I don’t agree with this one. That’s all. They didn’t allow my toddler to bring anything or have anything that he’s had and used as comfort at home. One stuffed dinosaur. That’s it. I was content with them taking his bottle and not allowing him the nido toddler formula throughout the day (He’s not a big eater, sometimes refuses to eat at all) he just turned two. It was one stuffed dinosaur (loves dinosaurs). They said “we have toys”. Then when I mentioned it was for comfort, something of his own. she proceeded to tell me I could leave it there for just today but that they were going to keep it placed on top of the coat shelf until I picked him up. Why bother saying something like that? I said nothing, hugged my son bye grabbed his Dino and left. It’s not a huge deal, my son will be okay. I simply don’t see the harm in allowing a child to have something of familiarity while they’re adjusting to big changes. He’s never had to stay anywhere with anyone he doesn’t know all day. World forbid he’s allowed to keep his one stuffy. Photo for cuteness I am still gathering a feel for this place. Praying for all the children and staff.

I've never seen my daughter kick her legs in excitement and literally jump into someone's arms because she loves them so much besides me. Well, she does for her teachers Mrs. Paula and Mrs. Mariah. They are caring, professional and encourage every parent to participate in school activities so they can be a bigger part of what goes on at the school and engage in the fun. The zoom meetings they hold often end in a prize for the kid of said parent if they decide to attend! I mentioned needing winter clothes so her teacher Mrs. Mariah put in a request to the main office and Staley got a box of brand new clothes, diapers, wipes and toys. I seriously don't have a bad thing to say about my experience here. The insinuation about "witch craft" is laughable. Come on now. Obviously written by a parent who was in their feelings about something silly.

Really good child center. The teachers love their kids and encourage creativity both in the classroom and on the playground. The teachers offer resources for all families as part of the Headstart program. The center allows for other who are curious to talk to the teachers and supervisor before making any decision. The program is free to all, however there is an application to fill out for information about the child and family. The center gives the kiddos 3 meals a day and plenty of activities for them to play around with. All of the staff at St. Johns is extremely friendly and it feels like a well-knit family. The teachers are open with all parents and keep the parents up to date on everything going on with their children. I have never had a bad visit there and I've been going there for a while (6+ months).

I would not recommend your children going here. They have teacher that does witch craft and teaching the kids that is ok for magic. The teachers call the kids little monsters. 1 of the teachers grabbed the little kid on the arm because they wouldn't listen. They say how they hate their jobs because the kids are brats. Just be careful picking a headstart for your children.
